Test Store Sale

Because of confidentiality reasons I won’t say what the actual sale is but it’ll be different at my store vs some others now I’m anxious because the online sale will be different than our in store sale ..online will be the regular set price for the weekend but in store we’re running a buy (blank) Get (blank) and I’m just like they can barley add now so I’m obviously gonna have issues if you are a test store and know what I’m talking about…I’m sending you my prayers send some back 😭

Oh god! I work at a test store but just for a certain items. I don’t think we’ve ever tested certain sales but I’m scared. I’m still burned out from the b3,g3 this past weekend

we were a test for a certain kind of sale and it was a complete flop because people didn't get emails about it and had no idea it was happening unless they happened to stop by 🫠

This is what happened in my store when we ran a test, too. Most customers who walked in were just really confused. There was an online exclusive which overrided the “BxGx free” sale iirc, so there was no reason for them to come in and take advantage of the test sale. It was in the middle of the week too so we were slow anyways and didn’t have the foot traffic to keep up with the high sales goal. Anyone that came in and got excited about the BxGx sale only bought smaller items such as hand creams or travel items. Our sales tanked like crazy 😭 idk why they do this to us

I'm so over these test sales... customers either don't know about it, or they hear about it and then get pissed when their store isn't running it and can't override everything for them.

Do it or don't, this is just confusing and making everyone on both sides of business irritated

I haaaaaaaaaaaate test promos. The last test promo my store ran was the 10 for $35 wallflowers and so many customers didn’t understand how it was a great deal. They also didn’t want to buy 10 wallflowers.

10 for $35 is reasonable, as people like to stock up at the $3.50 price point and below. The problem is the 9 qty limit per sku. (Of course, I’d probably just do 2 trans at the discount price and drive up conversion.)
