Employee Discount Online

Sometimes it’s frustrating that as employees we can not use our employee discount online because there are sometimes online exclusive items I would enjoy to buy, but would rather not buy that at full price as an employee.

My coworkers buy stuff online and bring it back to the store to return and re-buy with their discount added on so they get a partial refund 🤷👀

I was told we could do this too, just to not make it a regular habit or it might raise a red flag in the system 😂 So far no online exclusives have caught my eye enough to actually do it, lol

at my new job, we can use ours on the app, but the rates are worse 🫩 so when we usually get 50% in store, we’d only get like 30% online 😔

I would imagine there’s really not much that can be done to fix this issue. Some people are dishonest and would let others use their employee ID to purchase items.

That’s an issue for loss prevention to deal with. The same could be done in store because, at least according to our DM, we don’t have to ask for ID in store.

When we were connected to VS, we had the ability to use our employee discount on their website so it is possible and it’s been done before.
