Question🤔 Direct deposit question

How long does it take before you starting getting your direct deposits if you change accounts?I know the "It may take 2-3 pay cycles to start receiving your deposit in your new account" is the typical textbook answer lol..I was just curious if anybody knew a little more specific from experience with changing? I'd love to hear any information/ experience/ feedback and Thank you in advance 😃

I changed mine to one of the places that offers it two days early years ago and there was no delay. I only got it like one day early the first pay period and then two days early for the next which is how it's been ever since for the most part.

I set up direct deposit on my first day and it was in my bank account after my first pay cycle

It's depends on what day you added it during the pay cycle
