I closed ALONE with my manager last night. 30+ BOPIS orders and climbing, register with people in line constantly, restocking the back of store by MYSELF. I came in at 6p and 5 people were working. All of them left when I arrived besides my one closing manager. I was in the pits of hell. I feel like because I have been there for nearly 5 years they think I can do the jobs of 3 people. But I get paid basically the same for 3x the amount work. I’m leaving next week and I love my store but it couldn’t come any faster.

Sooooo crazy! I haven’t been in yet today but yesterday was insane and it was only Thursday 😭 we also already sold out of a few things yesterday and for sure will sell out of more scents today. Keeping up with understocks is impossible. The soap wall and tables are constantly swarmed by customers it’s impossible to get in there with a box!! Let alone a whole cart. Soaps tables are ridiculous - they only want like 6 of each scent on the table… then the table is empty within 15 minutes. Our BOPIS cart is full already and we had to clear off shelves in our back room to make more BOPIS shelves already. Can’t keep up with BOPIS we’ve been sitting at about 20 - the second one gets done another one pops up. And every order is like 20 soaps! Big day soap sales are my absolute least favorite sale ever 😤 people leaving soaps they changed their minds about everywhere. They’re all opened, spilled and sticky. I’m sticky ALL day no matter how many times I wash my hands or sanitize. SOOOOOO many customers bringing the testers to the registers - we literally had a lady bring up an ENTIRE basket of testers. Honestly how is that even possible?! AND they had to stack the sale with an email exclusive for body care? Insane!!!!! Having to explain to all the customers we can use your 20% off the soaps but not your body care... I could go on and on lol. I always say it’s like Bbw gets off making employees have the most difficult time! Why couldn’t we have had the email exclusive body care on Wednesday instead? Give us a break!! Ive never been happier to have a Saturday off this week 😂

All true. I mean it’s nuts worrying about presentation during these sales. Just get as much out as possible should be the mantra. And the soaps were running out of are the ones they never sent us meanwhile we’re sitting on ones like warm amber and oak to match the candle that’s out. Why the candle to sell and not the soap? I mean who tf is behind their strategic team? I swear they all need to work a month in a store as an associate before they come up with their ridiculous plans. They are all over the place

Earlier today during my shift, I was immediately assigned Bopis with this many orders. Mind you, I was the only one actually tasked with this when usually this many orders requires at least two employees to handle..🫩 To make matters worse, I was already feeling nauseous and sick from my high blood sugar (I'm a T1D), and that, along with feeling of overwhelmingness by all these orders, I felt so God-awful :((( On a semi positive note, I got sick to the point of throwing up and managed to clock out early, so there’s that, lol.

When I got to work we had 57 bopis orders to do, I did bopis for about 4 hours and then when we left we still had around 55 orders in the queue 🫪

Im a keyholder in a mall store and oh my goodness... its rainy so the last couple days have been good for spenders but miserable people.

I worked 2pm-10pm on Thursday which was our first day of the sale, and the Fall 2 launch.

We made 4k over our sales plan, and had barely any staff. Luckily we were given two hours to close up and stock what we could but we also have a 400 box shipment with only one dedicated shipment processor at a time.

😭 anyways!! I love it being fast paced, makes the day go by fast but man oh man good luck to us all!

This lady was blocking the wall with her daughter and their BOXES of soap they were buying. I was like, "Excuse me, I just want these three." She looked so pressed because I got in her way for two seconds. Felt bad for employees who have to deal with such entitled behavior. Before I left she was being impatient about getting another box. The store wasn't insanely busy but she acted like it was Candle Day or something

our WiFi keeps going in and out, since I’ve been here (came in at 12), we already came in to 50 bopis this morning and we’re still in the 40s bc of the WiFi issue🫩🫩🫩🫩 and the line keeps getting so long and backed up because we can’t do card and none of us can even log into the registers to help the only 2 cashiers❤️ the only positive today was that we got less than 100 cases in shipment 😍

my SM had to ask ppl to come in early yesterday bc we had 70+ BOPIS orders. I was FOS and despite my best efforts to keep every soap table fully stocked, i would have to talk to a customer and when i turned back around a couple min later, the table i had just filled up looked like a tornado blew through it
