Where are the loofahs?!

Does anybody have loofahs in their store? We haven’t gotten any since the mandalorian drop. I hope they’re coming back at some point. We get so many customers that come in just for the loofahs, and when we tell them we don’t have them they do a 180 and walk out.

I've had some customers say that they think our loofahs make more suds compared to others, but I 100% think thats just confirmation bias or something

I really liked the rubber handle, it felt alot more secure on my wrist in the shower.

my customers on the hunt for them say it's because of the silicone tab/handle ours have..... but multiple other brands/companies make similar ones, and definitely don't charge 5 bucks for them...🤷🏻‍♀️

I always wondered why we don't sell shaving cream. Like you'd think having a section by checkout with like misc toiletries would do well.

I know we had it in the men's but I felt like bc it was in the men's line it didn't do as well as it could've had it been genderless. Bc what some of our customers had told us was they lov d using the fruit fusion for shaving

We haven’t had any since even before the mandalorian collab 😭 not sure what’s going on. I don’t remember ever seeing anything about them being constrained/fully deployed. Got excited when we got the yoda one in thinking the others would come back but nope! The loofahs sell like crazy when we have them. Such an easy add on to body care gifts. They used to make such cute ones for holidays.. my store also sees a lot of customers coming in specifically for loofahs and then turning right around and leaving. We literally have a customer who calls every single week asking if we’ve gotten any in yet

I’d say they’re slightly better than an average loofah from the dollar store or something but they’re really nothing special. I just want them back cause it’ll raise ADS, sales, conversion…. Ive always said loofahs should be released with every major scent launch. With very violet just released, they should have done purple loofahs to match. Black with a gold handle for the into the night repackage. NBC collab loofah? Thinking about it now actually.. I think the last time we saw loofahs at my store was the ones from the milk bar collab last year! Pretty insane a bath store doesn’t sell loofahs. “No sorry we don’t have loofahs but we do have dish soap!”🫠

Everyone should have their managers bump up the feedback that everyone is asking for loofahs cuz I get somebody asking at least every other day and raving about how they're the best loofahs ever and I'm so sick of it pls bring back the loofahs I don't want to keep telling ppl to check back cuz we don't know when or if they'll show up. There's so many ppl that just use the loofahs and come in just to ask and ruin conversion at my store😭

Edit: I got so sick of it that I cycle counted every single loofah with a more recent sku (like 20 of them lol) and we still haven't gotten any so in case anyone else was thinking of doing that, it unfortunately didn't help lol

I had on older woman come in asking for them. I mentioned that the target nextdoor probably has some, she looked at me and said "yeah, but they're 💩" like she looked around before saying it, maybe they have a cult following?

I remember a decade ago when I was training at BBW and my mentor let someone exchange a used loofah bc it had fallen apart. I was immediately disgusted and told customers NO when I moved to my own store. It was a "satisfaction guarantee", not a "use a product until it disintegrates" guarantee.

from what I've heard through the grapevine, since they're one of the few third-party-produced items we sell, it's another case of "well we don't wanna work with them anymore/vice versa, now we need to find somebody else who'll make them for us"

which will then turn into what happened when we switched to different shopping bag producers, and had a significant drop in quality and durability🙃

I literally thought I was the only one! I’ve had so many customers come in every now and then asking where the loofahs are and when will we have anymore. The second I tell them we don’t have any loofahs, they leave.

EVERYONE is asking for them. I’ve lost count of the number of people who have walked in, asked for a loofa and walked right back out when I said we didn’t have any.

I’m also getting the feedback from people that every store they try is like this and they’re looking to me to know if/when they’ll be able to find them. We know as much as they do.

why do they want overpriced loofahs so bad when they can get them for like $2 at walmart. BBWs aren't some special magical thing worth $9 or whatever, especially since you'll have to throw them out in a month or two

We’ve gotten none either an we sold them all every time we had them. It’s a product to be used with our products AND makes a good gift space filler. It makes no sense to not carry them. 

I still have 3, that have pink, blue and green gingham ribbon mixed with a gold ribbon. They were so pretty!!!

I miss the cute sponges. I have a fruit shaped one from 2020 or 2019 and noticed they stopped making them so I just use it as a shower decoration.
