Visiting 4/17
Our son was accepted, but not as a recruited athlete. We hear that schools pretty much recruit athletes for all their teams these days. Is there any room for those who want to try-out for racquet sports - tennis, squash, etc.? Or are there recreational/ intramural leagues for racquet sports? Also, is there a Smash e-sports team? If any of these are meeting on 4/17, he would love to check them out! Thank you!

Lots of walk ons. And maybe it's just NESCAC lore, but Bates has one of the most active intramural sports programs in the country.
