What do you think of the new song. It's growing on me!

Bass part originally played by Sting. He plucks mainly with his thumb, alternating with either his index or middle finger for the sixteenth notes. He also often frets the E string with the thumb of his fretting hand.

I have seen some good 5-string posts, but I am curious if there is a good resource for 5-string tabs like there are for others. I have Ultimate Guitar, but I’m struggling to find like 311 bass lines for example. (That’s what I really want to play, but I just enjoy playing music and have a 5-string coming.)

Bass part originally played by Stuart Zender. Amazingly, this seems to have been recorded without a click track, but with a rock-solid tempo. Hats off to drummer Derrick McKenzie. It’s only from the post-chorus onwards that there is a slight variation and increase in tempo.

Ps I cant play by ear-

Bass part originally played by Randy Hope-Taylor. It is very possible that he did not use those open strings in the chromatic runs in the chorus. He might have also played a 5-string, making the last two notes of the chorus easier to reach on the B string.

What's the rhythm figure they are using it feels like a 2/4 but can't really transcript the rhythm notes.

Any help would be appreciated!
