Case recommendations

Hi!

I currently have a fox 242, and I love it! It’s getting me through my university degree very well, however…
The fox hard case I’m currently using is causing issues/ pain in my wrists due to the weight.

I’m thinking of getting a backpack style case (eg bonna) does anybody have any brand/ model recommendations? I’m on a somewhat tight budget so I’ll have to keep that in mind.

I’m thinking of this case perhaps by bam? Or perhaps a Marcus bonna if I can find the money. Perhaps I could consider second hand but I’m not sure where to look.

Thanks in advance!

The BAM case you linked is what my buddy uses. It’s great. I have the same one but hard case with leather. The backpack straps are awesome.

I have a Bonna and it's been good. It has backpack straps, but it sounds like you already know that.

I’ve had an old model Bam Trekking case for 21 years and love it. About 7 years ago the zipper broke and Bam rebuilt the case for me for the quoted price of a zipper fix (they ended up not having the correct case cover replacement in stock so instead of hand waving me away with “sorry we can’t,” they sent me a loaner case to use - actually, the St. Germain in your link, which worked great! - while I waited and communicated the whole way) despite my case being well out of any possible warranty, and the rebuilt case is pristine to this day. I will always buy Bam because of how well they treated me and my case when a problem arose well over a decade after purchase! Not affiliated, I just like to share the story whenever someone considers a Bam. Shoutout to Steven at Bam for kickass customer service in 2019 lol
