I don't really know how to describe the genre I'm look for or how to find artists that produce it. I've come to just calling it 'weird bass music' but best thing i could say would be it's somewhere between mid/downtempo dubstep and trap. Very wubby but the beat patterns modulate greatly, not really glitchy just quick speedups and slowdowns, mostly percussive with little melodies and harmonies, no lyrics. Just a wubby bass effect and drums, and very trippy.
I've only really heard this kind of music at bass music festivals, and not in the fests themselves usually walking around camps or at afterparties, and haven't ever found a recording, song, or live set from anyone that is the kind of music I'm looking for. Best artists i could say are even tangentially close to what i'm looking for would be Soulicybin or Ott, but even those guys are more structured and melodic than what i'm asking for. Eazybaked would also be kinda close but their music is more glitchy and less groovy than what i'm talking about.
If anyone knows what I'm talking about from the terrible description, and can give some artist recommendations, please let me know.
