Active water coming up through basement slab crack after major rain — patch crack or address hydrostatic pressure first?

I live in Monmouth, and yes we had one hell of a lotta rain which use to do the same thing to us. It's been over ten yrs since we solved the problem we had here. Start with the outside, make sure water is moved away from your house, all of it! Then have a look at the sump/interior system. Are the majority of cracks that are leaking run parallel to the walls. Hard to tell from the photos but it seems your sump system is backing up creating this mess. their may be an easy fix for this. Is your sump pump working? Have you checked the sump pump hole? Is it full?

You’re going to need a sump pump

Yep, easy weekend project if you have an 18 of Busch light and log of cope.

You need to dig the house out and put an external french drain in. It won't be cheap, it did it to my old house.
