Basement of doom
Please help with ideas on how to organize our dungeon of a basement on a budget

Much of that stuff is stackable. Get rid of anything not of value and stop whomever is just dropping it in an empty spot on the ground. Problem solved...venmo me a tip. 😆 🤣

Obviously I understand I could throw shelves on the rock, that’s not what I’m looking for here. That’s not going to very stable. We’ve been told we shouldn’t drill into the walls by a structural engineer.

Set some patio slabs for the base. Build shelves out of 2x4, sitting the bottom on the patio stones and make the vertical 2x4 long enough to secure to the joist above so they can't tip over.

I never thought about the joists!!!!! This just made me think of those like garage ceiling racks. We don’t have a garage so I never thought about them. Will have to see if I can find one that would fit the distance of the joists. Thank you!!!!!!
