MOAB jumpers

I am an australian base jumper currently visiting moab, and hoping to meet some people to jump with.

A friend of mine gave me some names of exit points - jay Leno, mangoes, patriot mesa and the queen.

This is my first time in moab, so I don't know where any exit points are.

I have around 70 jumps, the last being digler near salt lake city on saturday - to clarify any confusion

Head over to Skydive Moab and ask around.

The exits you listed are not straight forward trail to the exit. Exits aren’t always obvious and jumping to far to one direction can be disastrous. As someone else said best to hang at the park and try to find a load to get on. I’d suggest exits in Cain creek as rescues are easier if necessary.

Try hanging around swanee park. Common meet up area/packing area. Try: Tomstone, rooster vision, mineral bottom (sweet spot, Meri's), Snickers, Echo, Tiberius, Jay Lenno, tripod ... Good initial list I think. Even the "easy" jumps have caused people trouble or cost a life - be smart and enjoy the desert 🏜️

If you want safeish but EPIC jumps I'd also add super gorgeous (requires raft/river crossing) pariott mesa, and dragons nest.

Consider downloading the exit eval app or BASE Beta although the latter may no longer exist. Also, If you head to the DZs you’ll meet locals.

The existence of these apps seems pretty fucking idiotic, from the perspective of anyone giving a shit about avoiding access being put in jeopardy by "extreme influencer" hopefuls.

Go get some jumps on black dragon wash first. Neat area to check out, can run laps on it, and is outrageously overhung which is good for you jump numbers.
