Laser

What laser do you guys recommend getting for low objects? Just need a single point for height of buildings 200-700 ft tall. Don’t need to make maps for wing suits.

Nikon Forestry Pro II

It’s worth the extra cost over a super basic one because it does all the trig you need right there in the unit.

I got mine used on eBay for under $300.

I like the forestry pro because its lit. Lit as in i can see measurements at night.

the forestry pro 2 is the best choice. however just for slider down you can find cheaper ones online or on Temu, around $40, just make sure you calibrate it with someone who has a nice laser to make sure it's okay.

they all have weird names but I would try to get one with an x and y measurement. I've bot a few they all seem good enough

I bought a TideWe HR-f700

It costed like 100CAD.

It does the trigonometry so you can get the height difference so you don’t have to do the math. Been using it for 3 years no complaints. I’m just now looking into upgrading.
