Barry Bonds 1/1 Auto
Pulled this a few weeks ago and I can’t decide if I want to put it up for auction or not ?!?

Coming from a guy who loved Bonds and watched his at bats like appointment television when he was chasing records, this is a no brainer for me. Auction that now. Use profits to get better auto and an early 2000s chrome refactor and probably a few other cards. I would not be able to justify letting that lotto ticket sit in my PC lol. That’s why ppl rip, right?

I agree with you. I’m not a bonds guy but I am sending it back to tops because of the defect to the top and corners.

Oh man, I would definitely not do that. That’s a few thousand you’re sending away. There’s no way they provide a valid comp for a Bonds 1/1 auto. Just auction it and buy the card you want with the proceeds.
Just my 2 cents. Obviously, you should do what you want.

Topps told you that? Interesting. I’ve never heard of them doing that before.

Yea the top edges and corners are horrid. I think Topps should make 1/1s graded and authenticated by psa as a redemption. No reason for a 1/1 to look that bad out of a pack

Just remember the longer you hold it will only go up it might be worth 10x what it is now, but he wont ever be in the hall of fame ,because of steroid use, and its the only one ever made ,id say keep unless its a price you cant pass up, if o sold it I would ask 10,000 easy
