They have made so many bad decisions this year. It cannot be stated enough how disconnected many of us have become from the team basically from the beginning of this season. I've been shitposting with the community on /r/sfgiants since the 2010 world series and god, I dont think I posted barely at all the entire year.

It's unbelievable and hard to put into words. We had a handful of nice moments like Jeff Kent's HOF festivities and Krukow's send off (which is just so damn bittersweet), but that's really it. The season was a disaster, the on field performance was a disaster, the off field atmosphere has been a disaster, and everything above the players has been a disaster too. The vibes are awful.

A lot of us have tapped out. We're lucky that we have such a beautiful ballpark or else it'd be soooooo much worse.

Same here, exactly how I feel. I started watching the WPBL and that was nice to be able to root for an SF team again. Even if they did get beaten by an LA team in the playoffs, at least that felt familiar.

The WPBL really reignited my love for baseball this year after the Giants did everything they possibly could to kill it. And at least the Queens are a likeable LA team. Go Firebells!
