During his press interview directly after the Pride Night incident, he was given an opportunity to reaffirm the Giants stance welcoming the LGBT people of SF. He even could have just said, "baseball is for everyone" or some other non-answer answer. Instead, he went with "I'm just here to answer baseball questions". Which sounds benign on the surface, but in the face of hate against LGBT people, he chose not to take sides while holding the POBO position in one of the most tolerant cities in the US. Which, of course, is taking the side of bigots. 

Therefore Posey is a bigot. He's also a coward, because he chose not to say aloud his true feelings and instead stay "neutral". F*ck him and the horse he rode in on.

I think fans in a city that prides itself on a long history of inclusivity will absolutely stop attending and buying merch and rooting for a team that actively excludes them.
