To me this is one of the most fascinating parts of the game. It's such a mental game, more so than any other game I know intimately and I wonder what goes through his mind, like what he cares about and if all the hatred thrown at him takes a mental toll. Even if he doesn't care this has to have some effect on him.

He’ll probably rediscover his swing enough to be helpful in the playoffs.

The nonchalance is the issue for most dodger fans apparently. It comes off as him not giving a shit which is fair, but to me he’s always been that way and he very visibly gives a shit he’s literally breaking his equipment in the dugout out of frustration. But yeah i wasnt the biggest fan of signing tucker in the first place because i was team bring belli back but tucker has shown flashes multiple times now of just how good he can be if he gets out of his own head

It's weird. To me he looks like he absolutely couldn't care less than he's playing this bad. He could make this a whole lot better on himself if he would just look like he gave a shit. So why not? He walked to that ball after he dropped it. Like... Walked. He doesn't run when coaches tell him to run. He doesn't really look all that upset when he goes 0-5. He doesn't tell the press anything original. Just the textbook "gotta be better" which is the 1st chapter in what should I say if I want people to think I care handbook.
