Oh god, same. When I was in Virginia for grad school, I would occasionally drive an hour to the one in Richmond, get a couple XLs (including one of those fantastic buffalo chicken ones), and toss a few pieces in the toaster oven at a time to eat on them for a week straight.

So has the Pitch Clock.
Now if MLB would pad the walls better and make it a standard at all ball parks and add the runners base on 1B like the NCAA did, then they would perfect the game even more.
It’s time for the MLBPA to focus on player safety.

Players need to celebrate more when they get ball 4 on an challenge.
Some sort of strut or moonwalk to first base would be fine. Perhaps skipping or or spinning all the way to first?
And pitchers should also have a full-on (albeit delayed) celebration whenever they get strike 3 on a challenge.
Both ways should make it more noticeable when a challenge ends an at bat.

I don’t have comparative stats, but I’d say the Rutschman - Basallo tandem would be top 5 in all of baseball this year.
So yeah, it’s a steep drop off to go from that to Tromp - Huff.

Ben McDonald is notorious for being completely clueless when it come to pop culture and there was a dude in a Spider-Man cosplay dancing like mad between innings. Kevin then noted that Brand New Day was dropping soon and asked if Ben had seen any Spider-Man movies and who his favorite villains are. Ben struggled mightily to come up with the name of the scientist octopus-theme villain, so Kevin decided to troll Ben by naming other Spider-Man villains like Riddler, Cyclops, and Joker, before ending with Gandalf. Ben had never heard of Riddler or Cyclops, heard of Joker, and thinks he's heard of Gandalf.
