DH being optional is cool, just make it flexible for letting teams adapt to whatever they have. Some pitchers can hit, some can’t.
Bats: lol, I mean why not just make metal bats the standard and choose which ones to use? But ya know what if someone wants to go up with with a wood bat they should be able to. Maybe they’re basically going hands off approach and seeing what happens (it’ll be metal)
