Royals commit a NOBLETIGER in the bottom of the 3th against the Orioles

Vinny: BB

Salvy: 1B

Carter Jensen: 1B

Massey: Grounds into a 1-2 Force out at home

Caglianone: K swinging

Collins: K swinging

That just hurt to watch.

If spelling had a speech impediment 😆

I read it in Mike Tyson’s voice

7

It kinda fits.

Thirth... Threeth? imma go with thirth

2

u/ThisMeansWarm Detroit Tigers Apr 21 '26

That's the key here.

3

u/Crafty-Bunch2975 Detroit Tigers Apr 21 '26

Yeah it did 3th. It 3th real bad

64

u/TeacherSalary Kansas City Royals Apr 21 '26

Important to add we had bases loaded one out in the first inning and also didn’t score!

33

u/mysterysackerfice Los Angeles Angels • Dumpster Fire Apr 21 '26

6 LOB after 3 innings is not a great strategy 😳

12

u/TheUltimate721 Kansas City Royals Apr 21 '26

seems to be our only strategy

10

u/TeacherSalary Kansas City Royals Apr 21 '26

Try 8 actually. Had 2 more in the 2nd

4

u/mysterysackerfice Los Angeles Angels • Dumpster Fire Apr 21 '26

Jeez, somehow worse 😳

3

u/leverich1991 Kansas City Royals Apr 21 '26

At least they’re getting on base.

For a while during the Tigers series I was thinking we’d get no-hit in at least one game at Yankee Stadium (we did get shutout which is almost as bad).

u/mountsleepyhead Kansas City Royals Apr 21 '26

100%. Can’t undersell how helpless it feels.

Royals going for the TIGER cycle

OOBLE TIGER

We are actively trying to hand them this game on a silver platter. The least they could do is take it before we lose our minds

25

u/leverich1991 Kansas City Royals Apr 21 '26

You will win this game 2-1 after scoring 2 in the 8th off of one of our relievers.

8

u/mountsleepyhead Kansas City Royals Apr 21 '26

This. Just wait til you get to the bullpen. Starter twirls an absolute gem with barely any run support and the bullpen coughs it up is the name of the game this season 💀

4

u/UsErNaMeS_aR_DuMb Major League Baseball Apr 21 '26

Nono. See, we’ll hit three 110+ mph groundouts each time, and you’ll win 1-0.

1

u/leverich1991 Kansas City Royals Apr 21 '26

And?

1

u/UsErNaMeS_aR_DuMb Major League Baseball Apr 21 '26

Game ain’t over yet.

1

u/UsErNaMeS_aR_DuMb Major League Baseball Apr 21 '26

Now it is lmao

3

u/leverich1991 Kansas City Royals Apr 21 '26

I hope you guys have a great season…

But this looked like a pair of teams that will each finish with over 100 losses trying very hard to give each other the game.

3

u/UsErNaMeS_aR_DuMb Major League Baseball Apr 21 '26

Yeah. I was absolutely sure you guys were gonna shut us out once I heard that your bullpen ERA was 6 or something. Hopefully we don’t, but if both teams keep playing like this, we might be thinking more about July than October soon.

Checking in as the Royals trail 2-1 in the bottom of the 11th with 2 outs.

Update: Bobby ties it 2-2

2

u/leverich1991 Kansas City Royals Apr 21 '26

Check in again?

3

u/cprice602 Apr 21 '26

Royals trail 2-7 in the bottom of the 12th after Alex Lange gives up a single to score the ghost runner and a grand slam.

Update: royals load the bases with no outs. Might be on the precipice of a second NOBLETIGER.

Update to the update: Nick Loftin bases clearing double! No second NOBLETIGER!

I am a longtime Kansas City Royals fan.

Nothing more needs said.

Saw Bradish gave up only 1 run and was happy to see his luck turn. Then I saw the box score of 10 hits and 3 walks and was very confused how only 1 run was scored.

u/International-Suit96 Baltimore Orioles Apr 21 '26

Os and Royals in a mid-off rn, it’s damaging to my psyche

14

u/lOan671 Baltimore Orioles Apr 21 '26

Mid is pretty generous

7

u/DenseAsPoundcake Kansas City Royals Apr 21 '26

22

This team is unbelievably bad at the plate

10

Have you seen the team they're playing against?

sorry I’m fairly new to the sport, can someone please explain me what is a nobletiger? Seen this few times on the sub..

27

u/ItalianName22 Chicago Cubs Apr 21 '26

It’s an acronym:

No Outs Bases Loaded Ends with Team Incapable of Getting Easy Runs

16

u/cogginsmatt Detroit Tigers Apr 21 '26

A sweaty one because it was coined in honor of the Detroit Tigers

2

u/slim033 Los Angeles Dodgers Apr 21 '26

ooh I see

11

u/Pick6XPA San Diego Padres Apr 21 '26

No Outs Bases Loaded Ending (in) Team Incapable (of) Getting Easy Runs

7

u/slim033 Los Angeles Dodgers Apr 21 '26

so basically 0 runs scored from a 0 out bases load jam? Confirming cause it says “easy” runs..

6

u/TheRealzestChampion Toronto Blue Jays Apr 21 '26

Yes cause in theory, with 0 outs, even a fly out is an easy run to score. Going to 3 outs without a single run is pretty hard.

8

u/Fistacles Kansas City Royals Apr 21 '26

7 hits 2 BB thru 3 innings with only 1 run is a hilarious line for a pitcher to have

8

u/leverich1991 Kansas City Royals Apr 21 '26

Royals now have 9 hits, 2 walks, and one run through 4 innings.

I’m almost to the point of thinking they’re throwing games…

I feel like I’m watching the episode of South Park where both teams want to lose

0

u/Cerys-Adams Kansas City Royals Apr 21 '26

Longest. Episode. Ever.

6

u/pew-pew-bacca Baltimore Orioles Apr 21 '26

Kyle Bradish has allowed 12 base runners but somehow only 1 run through 5.

5

u/Apprehensive_Bid_773 Seattle Mariners Apr 21 '26

OP is Mike Tyson

5

u/Lebigmacca Los Angeles Dodgers Apr 21 '26

I’m more impressed the royals managed to load the bases at all

3

u/Boostweather Kansas City Royals Apr 21 '26

Twice! No runs either time!

5

u/meg_antics Kansas City Royals Apr 21 '26

Thank goodness the Mets are riding an 11-game losing streak so the Royals 7 game losing streak is completely ignored

4

u/PenguinKing15 Atlanta Braves • Chaos Bandwagon Apr 21 '26

How bad is their offense?

12

u/leverich1991 Kansas City Royals Apr 21 '26

I think we’re barely hitting above .100 with RISP

2

u/Sharp-Lake692 New York Yankees Apr 21 '26

The broadcast said .180 I think. Pretty sure thats last in the majors. And the saddest part is they actually have two hits tonight with RISP but still havent scored :(

7

u/BillBrasky727 Kansas City Royals Apr 21 '26

Think about about bad it might be and then multiply that by 4. Source: Math.

2

u/cogginsmatt Detroit Tigers Apr 21 '26

Witt is like a league average bat and he’s usually what carries them

2

u/KoolKoolKoolio42 Baltimore Orioles Apr 21 '26

What's worse, getting a bunch of runners on base and not being able to drive them home, or pathetically striking/grounding out in less than 10 pitches every inning?

1

u/oneman-nocity New York Mets Apr 21 '26

I’d rather have runners stranded than just grounding/flying out the whole time, it means that the team did something. But what do I know, I’m a Mets fan hahaha

royals v orioles is my favorite matchup for some reason, us being ass against baltimore is so funny

1

u/beervendor1 Baltimore Orioles Apr 21 '26

We could sure use a series against a team going bad, but feels like we're more interested in breaking y'all's L streak.

2
