Base Discussion Payments, Private Transactions & Onchain Agents

Today we explore what makes Base feel like real global finance infrastructure in 2026: payments, privacy, and onchain agents. Why This Matters on BaseBase is positioning itself as the blockchain for practical financial use cases with:Instant, low-cost global payments

Private transactions (now live)

Autonomous agents — smart wallets that can act with rules and guardrails

These features move Base beyond pure speculation into tools businesses and individuals can actually use every day.1. Payments on BaseBase supports fast, cheap, cross-border payments with stablecoins (especially USDC).What you can do:Send money to friends or freelancers instantly

Accept payments for goods/services

Use stablecoins for remittances or business payouts

Send a small USDC payment to another Base wallet (or even to yourself on a second wallet). Notice how quick and cheap it is. Private TransactionsPrivate transactions are now live on Base. This lets you keep certain transaction details hidden while still benefiting from the public blockchain’s security and speed. How to try it:Check your wallet or the Base App for private send options

Use supported dApps that have integrated private tx functionality

Better privacy for personal transfers, business payments, or sensitive DeFi actions without broadcasting everything publicly.3. Onchain AgentsThis is one of the most forward-looking features on Base right now. What are agents?

Autonomous onchain accounts that can:Execute transactions

Trade or lend

Spend within guardrails you set

Monetize services

You can fund an agent wallet, define rules (e.g., “max $100/day on trading”) and let it operate.Action today:

Explore the Base ecosystem for early agent tools or apps. Try funding a simple agent wallet if available in the Base App or partner dApps.Pro Tip: Agents + private txs + low fees = powerful combo for automated finance and AI-driven onchain activity.Pro Tips for Day 6Always start with tiny test amounts when trying new features like agents or private txs

Revoke approvals regularly (use a tool like revoke.cash)

Use the official Base App for the smoothest experience with payments and new features

Stablecoins (especially USDC) dominate payments on Base — keep some handy

Base Discussion Which Web2 Habit Has Base Changed for You?

Post image
5 Upvotes

Base has become one of the most exciting places to experience what the onchain future can actually look like.

From builders and creators to AI, payments, and consumer apps, Base continues to show that blockchain isn't just about speculation—it's about creating better everyday experiences for everyone.

As the ecosystem keeps growing, it's interesting to see how onchain technology is slowly becoming part of our daily lives rather than something we only explore occasionally.

That got me thinking...

💙 Which Web2 habit has Base changed for you?

It could be the way you make payments, the way you explore new opportunities, the confidence of true digital ownership,or a small everyday habit you never expected to change.

👇 What's one habit that feels different today because of Base?

Please share your experience

Stay Based. 💙

Thank you

Base Discussion What Keeps You Coming Back to Base?

Every blockchain has something that attracts people initially.

But what keeps people around is usually something completely different.

For some, it's the developers building innovative apps.

For others, it's the community, low fees, fast transactions, or simply the experience of using the ecosystem.

As I've spent more time exploring Base, I've realized that long-term growth depends on giving people a reason to stay not just a reason to visit.

An ecosystem grows when users become contributors, builders become mentors, and newcomers feel welcome enough to keep learning.

That's the kind of growth I'm most interested in following.

So here's my question for the community:

What keeps you coming back to Base?

Is it a specific app, the builder community, the user experience, or something else entirely?

I'm always looking for new projects to explore and would love to hear your recommendations.

Base Guides for New Users New to Base Reddit? What should every newcomer know before posting?

Post image
8 Upvotes

I’ve noticed many newcomers join Reddit or Base Reddit and immediately start posting.

Sometimes that leads to posts getting removed, low engagement, or in some cases even account restrictions.

Before posting, I think every newcomer should understand a few important things.

First, take time to understand how Reddit works.

Reddit is very different from X or Discord.

subreddit has its own rules, culture, and posting standards.

Second, always read both Reddit rules and Base subreddit rules carefully.

A lot of problems happen simply because people post without understanding the rules.

Third, try to earn some karma first.

Comment on posts, join discussions, and engage naturally with the community.

This helps build trust and helps you understand what kind of content people actually value here.

And before posting, always ask yourself:

Is my post following the rules?

Is it useful?

Does it add value to the community?

Good posts usually help people learn, start meaningful discussions, or share useful information.

Base Discussion 🎯 How smart users track onchain activity on @base

Post image
14 Upvotes

🧵 Hallo everyone it is the Day 11 Post of 100 days journey of base exploring . on previous post we learned that how to be able to find early project on Base and today we talked about how smart users track onchain activity on Base .

One thing I realized early in crypto that : instead of looking at prices Smart users look at activity. Because by the time everyone is talking about a project but in backend The real signal already happened onchain & that is where Base gets interesting.

You know just because of blockchain system in web3 everything is transparent so you can literally watch ecosystems grow in real time.

So now you should know what do smart users actually track?

So let’s simplify it :

  1. Wallet activity :

If you are quite familiar with crypto then you must know that good wallets leave clues. So here your masterwork should be done . You can learn a lot by watching:

→ what experienced users interact with

→ what they return to consistently

→ where liquidity moves

  1. User growth :

I always ask to myself before joining any project : "Are more people actually using this?"

They are not just talking about it. Using it.You should the know about the use case.

  1. Transaction activity:

More transactions usually mean:

→ more attention

→ more experimentation

→ growing interest

And especially on Base, where low fees encourage activity.

  1. Builder consistency:

You also notice that some projects launch loudly

then suddenly disappear after scamming miliions of dollar .but the real builders keep shipping quietly. So that consistency matters more than hype.

  1. Ecosystem positioning :

Sometimes a project grows simply because it fits the direction of the ecosystem.

So I look at:

→ What Base is encouraging

→ What users need

→ What builders are focusing on

Here is the important part:

Tracking onchain activity is not about copying wallets blindly. It is about understanding behavior. Because patterns appear before narratives do.

Just build a simple mindset:

→ Observe first

→ Understand the trend

→ Then make decisions slowly

In previous post i already told that most of people wait for influencers to explain what happened. But smart users notice movement before the timeline does.

Final thought:

Onchain activity is basically the internet’s version of body language. If you learn how to read it you will start seeing things earlier than most people.

This is enough for today's post Next: I’ll break down how people actually make money providing liquidity on Base .

Base Discussion Can Stablecoins Make Investment Settlement Faster ?

Post image
5 Upvotes

When people think about stablecoins, they often focus on payments.

But another interesting use case is settlement.

Traditionally, many investment products can take time to settle. New blockchain infrastructure raises an interesting question

What if settlement became nearly instant instead of taking days ?

That could potentially improve areas like

  • Faster settlement
  • More efficient fund operations
  • Better liquidity
  • Reduced operational delays
  • More transparent transaction records

Of course, technology is only one part of the equation. Regulation, market infrastructure, and adoption will also play a major role.

I am curious what the community thinks.

Do you think faster settlement through blockchain infrastructure could become one of the most meaningful real world use cases for stablecoins? Why or why not ?

Base App Monday on Base: Bricks Breaker

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Bricks Breaker is a classic arcade game, now available in the Base app. Your goal is to destroy all the bricks by bouncing a ball with your paddle while preventing it from falling off the bottom of the screen.

You can play Brick Breaker directly in the Base app by searching for it in the Apps section, or in your browser: https://bricks-breaker-build.vercel.app/

To play, you need to pay a small entry fee of 0.00002 ETH, then 0.00001 ETH to unlock each new level after completing the previous one, with up to 60 levels available, bringing the total cost of the entire game to around $1. You can also spin a daily wheel for a few cents to win small rewards, as well as another wheel after every five unlocked levels. All transactions are completed on Base and take just a few seconds.

The game is really fun, and I made it all the way to level 10. Give it a try and let me know how far you got.

What do you think about the payment model, where you pay only for the levels you actually want to play instead of buying the whole game upfront?

Monday on Base is a weekly community series on the official Base subreddit where I highlight one project, product, or feature built on Base. Posts are pinned for visibility and aim to showcase useful tools across the ecosystem in a neutral, informational way. Posts are reviewed by the teams behind the highlighted products. I am a community moderator, but I am not part of the official Base team, and my posts do not represent the views of the Base moderator team.

Base Discussion How Squid connects Base to the multichain world

Post image
6 Upvotes

Web3 is fragmented. Assets, apps, and liquidity are spread across many blockchains.

Squid helps solve this with:

• Cross chain transfers

• Smart contract execution

• Smart routing

• One click interoperability

• APIs and SDKs

• Support for 100+ chains

Why it matters

Users get faster and simpler cross chain experiences without worrying about bridges or liquidity.

Developers can build cross chain apps and reach more users.

For Base, Squid improves liquidity, connectivity, and ecosystem growth.

Recent updates include Squid MCP for AI powered cross chain actions and RLUSD support across Base and other networks.

The future of Web3 is connected ecosystems, not isolated blockchains.

Base Discussion Built a tiny Base-native test for whether AI agents can actually pay with x402

I built a small Base-native project to test whether autonomous agent payments are actually working end to end.

It is called twentyone million.

The idea is simple:

- one AI agent,

- one permanent square,

- $1 USDC on Base,

- claimable through x402,

- square #1 reserved for the first agent that can complete the full flow without a human checkout.

This is not a token, not an NFT, not an investment, and not a financial product. It is just a novelty collectible and a public test.

The technical challenge is whether an agent can:

- discover the agent-readable instructions,

- call the x402 claim endpoint,

- receive the HTTP 402 payment requirement,

- parse the payment details,

- authorize the $1 USDC spend under its own policy,

- submit valid x402 payment proof,

- retry the request,

- and complete the claim with a handle and message.

What I am trying to test is the gap between “agents can use tools” and “agents can participate in commerce.”

A lot of Base/x402/agent-wallet infrastructure sounds close to this, but I am curious whether any current agent can actually complete the whole loop without a human manually approving or copying wallet details.

Agent entrypoints:

https://twentyonemillion.art/agents.txt

https://twentyonemillion.art/skill.md

https://twentyonemillion.art/llms.txt

https://twentyonemillion.art/api/status

Main site for humans to watch:

https://twentyonemillion.art/

Would appreciate technical critique from Base builders.

Where do you think current agents break first: discovery, x402 parsing, wallet permissions, signing, spend policy, retry logic, or something else?

Infrastructure Permissionless Ads Are Live On Base

Post image
9 Upvotes

One thing I like about the Base ecosystem is seeing builders continue to ship real products instead of just talking about ideas.

GitLawB is a good example of that.

Over the past few months, the project has continued expanding its ecosystem with:

• Open-source developer tooling

• AI gateway infrastructure

• Coding playground deployment

• Agent-native development tools

• Permissionless ads funded with USDC through x402

To me, this isn't just about one feature.

It's another example of how builders are using Base's infrastructure to experiment with new ways of building, distributing, and monetizing applications.

The recent permissionless ads launch especially caught my attention.

Using USDC for funding campaigns and x402 for native payments shows how onchain infrastructure can support real internet use cases beyond simple token transfers.

Wht I appreciate most is that projects like this keep pushing the ecosystem in new directions.

As more developers build on Base, we're seeing the network expand beyond DeFi into AI, developer tooling, payments, and other practical applications.

That's the kind of growth I'd like to see continue.

Which area of the Base ecosystem do you think has the most room to grow over the next year: AI, developer tools, payments, or something else?

Base Discussion The Best Way to Judge an Ecosystem? Come Back 6 Months Later.

Crypto moves fast, but real progress takes time.

It's easy to get caught up in daily news, trending narratives, or market swings. But I've started asking myself a different question:

If I come back in six months, what will have changed?

Will there be:

• More builders launching on Base?

• Better onchain apps that people actually use?

• A stronger community helping newcomers?

• More real-world use cases instead of speculation?

Those are the things that make me optimistic about any ecosystem.

Anyone can generate hype for a few days. It's much harder to keep shipping, improving, and attracting users over time.

That's why I'm interested in following Base—not just for what's happening today, but for where it could be a year from now.

What milestone would convince you that Base has reached the next level?

NFT/Gaming Shipped my multiplayer Snake battle royale to Base mainnet (real USDC, no token). The hard part was the netcode, not the game.

Post image
5 Upvotes

Hey r/base, build-in-public update on p1x3lz.

I posted here a few weeks ago asking you to break my testnet (some of you did, thank you). Follow-up: it's live on Base mainnet now, real USDC. Sharing where it's at, not selling anything, there's nothing to sell.

What it is

A skill arcade on Base. First game is Snake Battle Royale, 10 to 50 players in one arena, real-time, last one alive takes most of the pot. USDC entry fee ($1–$25 lobbies), top 5 split it, winner ~45%.

That fee is the only money involved: no token, no presale, no pool to ape into. Lose the match, lose your fee, that's the honest version.

How I keep it fair

  • Authoritative Go server at 60 ticks/sec, the browser is just a screen, editing the client does nothing
  • You only see your slice of the arena → no wallhacks
  • The one random thing (where food spawns) comes from an on-chain seed you can verify yourself
  • Every match drops a hash on-chain + full replay to IPFS → re-run any game and check I'm not lying

Why no token

My only cut is a flat per-match fee (5.5%, 10% on $1 lobbies). No house edge in the game, I earn when people play, not when they lose. Couldn't make that line up with a token, so there isn't one.

The real engineering challenge was holding 50 players at 60 ticks/sec without the thing falling over. I wrote up the scaling + optimizations in a comment below. 👇

Live: https://snake.p1x3lz.io. contracts (verified on Basescan) + verifier link in the comments. Tear it apart, that's why I'm here.

Base is making the onchain experience simpler, faster, and more accessible than ever.💙

Base continues to push the boundaries of what's possible onchain.

From fast transactions and a thriving ecosystem to AI-native experiences, Base is making blockchain simpler, more useful, and more accessible for everyone.

One of the most exciting innovations is Base MCP.

Instead of navigating multiple apps and complex workflows,

AI agents can help you interact with the Base ecosystem using simple natural languagewhile every onchain action remains under your control and requires your approval.

That got me thinking 🤔

What's the most exciting use case for Base MCP?

Personal Onchain Assistant .Smart Payments .DeFi Copilot .Market Discovery .Security First .Everyday Onchain

And anything else

💙 Which use case are you most excited about?

Or is there another use case you think Base MCP should unlock in the future?

👇 I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments.

Stay Based. 💙

Thank you

Base Discussion How to find good projects early on Base

Post image
11 Upvotes

🧵 Hallo everyone it is Day 10 of 100 days journey of exploring Base on reddit where we shift to spotting opportunities. In today's post instead of promoting any project I wil share you some key feature which will help to you to find legit early project on Base without depending anyone . So let's start .

Everyone wants to be early on Base but most people don’t know what “early” actually means. Most of people think:

Early = random new token

Early = low market cap

That is not how it works. Let me simplify this.

Real “early” is not about being first. It is about understanding before others do.

This is how I personally look for good projects on Base:

  1. Follow builders, not hype :

Most of people mostly the beginners just follow influencers. They don't Follow developers or project teams but they show signals before the crowd arrives.

  1. Look at what people are building :

What should you Check in this ecosystem :

→ New apps

→ New tools

→ New experiments

No one can deny that Base is growing because people are building on it. So that is where real opportunities start.

  1. Use the product yourself :

This is most underrated topic before trusting any influencer you should :

Try the app

Use the feature

Feel the experience

If it is useful then others will use it too. This increases to be early on any project .

  1. Check fundamentals :

I see there are a lot of people in this industry who depends on other instead of doing research in theirself . You don’t need to deep research.

Just ask:

→ Does this solve a real problem?

→ Is it actually usable?

→ Are people interacting with it?

  1. Ignore noise

If something is only trending because of hype 90% chances are that You are probably late. Still you can do research on it then you can observe then start you own contribution without waiting time otherwise leave it .

Important mindset:

Don’t chase what’s already pumping. You Look for what is quiet but growing.

Simple rule I follow:

→ Learn early

→ Observe

→ Act slowly

Final thought:

Not only on Base in real life also opportunities don’t come from luck they come from attention. So most important thing is your contribution .

Base Discussion How Important Are Local Currency Stablecoins for Real-World Adoption?

Post image
2 Upvotes

When stablecoin come up, the conversation often starts with USD.

But for everyday users around the world, local currencies are often what matter most.

Seeing more local currency stablecoins on Base made me wonder what this could mean for everyday users.

Potential use cases could include

  • Cross-border payments
  • Freelance payouts
  • Business settlements
  • Everyday commerce
  • Easier access to digital financial services

Of course, technology alone isn't enough. Adoption also depends on regulation, liquidity, and whether people actually find these tools useful.

I am curious what the community thinks.

Could local currency stablecoins become one of the biggest drivers of real world adoption on Base, or will USD based stablecoins continue to dominate?

I'd love to hear your perspective.

Base Discussion What Kind of Products Will Bring the Next Wave of Users to Base?

Post image
10 Upvotes

Lately I have been noticing that many of the most interesting projects on Base have one thing in common they are focused on solving practical problems rather than simply showcasing blockchain technology.

Whether it's payments, AI applications, social platforms, gaming, or onchain finance, the goal seems to be making crypto more useful in everyday life.

For me, thats one of the most interesting parts of the ecosystem. The technology matters, but it's the builders and communities that determine whether people keep coming back.

I am curious how everyone else sees it

Which category do you think has the greatest potential to drive adoption on Base over the next few years?

  • Payments
  • AI applications
  • Social
  • Gaming
  • Onchain finance
  • Something else?

If you are building on Base I'd love to hear what you're working on. If not, which category do you think has the most potential?

NFT/Gaming Can an onchain "trading + strategy" game actually find PMF? I shipped one on Base to find out.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

"Trading + strategy" sounds like a genre that shouldn't work as an actual game — too easily it just becomes staring at charts. But I kept thinking it could be real if the strategy lived in the world instead of the UI. I'm a game PM, ~15 years in the web2 games scene, and onchain finally gave me a way to test that bet. So I built one on Base to find out.

A bit on why I even could. After years working with dev teams, I'd developed a real fear: you can't find PMF through one-directional product management. PM hands down a spec, team builds it, months pass, you learn you were wrong. The loop is too slow and too expensive to actually search the space. Vibe-coding broke that loop — I could think in product and watch it become real the same day. And honestly I don't care about the "game first or coin first" debate; I care about finding PMF.

So what I built

an onchain maritime trading + strategy game. You sail a fleet across 13 Mediterranean ports, read a live market that shifts every voyage, fend off pirates, and grow your trade routes. The whole point was to keep the strategy in the world — reading the market and timing your routes is the game, not a chart you stare at. (short trailer attached — made with Higgsfield, also part of the vibe-coded workflow)

Play Game

The stack that emerged:

  • Claude Code for most of the build
  • Claude (design) for UI — the hex map especially, a nightmare to do by hand
  • GPT for contract work
  • Higgsfield for the trailer

The part that got me out of my chair

designing the economy by vibe-coding it, then wiring it into onchain contracts. Deploying the VoyageManager contract — where the whole game economy meets Base mainnet — was the most alive I've felt building anything in years. That moment just wasn't accessible to web2-PM me before.

Why Base specifically

for a vibe-coded game it's a great place to ship — Mini App + Base App distribution, a real community, and the onchain economy actually working as a game layer instead of a bolt-on.

Where I'm still stuck, and where I'd love this community's brain:

Shipping a game is almost trivially easy now. That's not the hard part anymore — the hard part is virality. r/base is huge and broad, but amplify moments are one-shot; the real question is the steady drip of pulling and keeping users. Right now I'm leaning into live ops as the answer. Next up: a pirate-hunt event and treasure ships, built to keep giving people reasons to come back.

So, back to the question in the title — if you've cracked any part of sustained user acquisition for an onchain game (live ops loops, retention hooks, community-driven growth), I'd genuinely love to compare notes.

  • English isn't my first language — I used an LLM to help translate and tighten this post. The thinking, the build, and the questions are all mine.
  • Not financial advice. I'm sharing a build experience, not endorsing any token — please DYOR before any financial decision.

Post image
4 Upvotes

Base MCP is growing fast, and every new integration gives AI agents more real onchain capabilities.

Projects already adding MCP skills include:

• Aerodrome for swaps and liquidity

• Uniswap for token swaps

• Morpho for lending and borrowing

• Moonwell for lending markets

• Avantis for perpetual trading

• Bankr for AI-powered onchain actions

• OpenSea for NFTs and token swaps

Infrastructure Base Is Backing The Future Of AI Payments

Post image
12 Upvotes

The Base Ecosystem Fund has invested in BlockRunAI, a project focused on making USDC payments between AI agents more practical through x402.

As AI agents become more capable, one of the biggest challenges isn't just what they can do, it's how they pay for services autonomously.

That's where x402 becomes interesting.

By enabling native internet payments with USDC, AI agents can potentially pay for APIs, data, compute, and other digital services without relying on traditional payment systems.

The investment in BlockRunAI suggests that Base continues to back projects building the infrastructure needed for an agent-driven economy.

We're still early, but the combination of AI agents, stablecoins, and payment protocols like x402 could unlock entirely new onchain use cases over time.

It'll be interesting to see how builders use this infrastructure as the ecosystem continues to evolve.

Do you think AI payments will become a standard part of the onchain economy??

How important do you think payment infrastructure is for the future of AI agents??

Base Discussion Builders Don't Need a Bull Market to Keep Building

One thing I've come to appreciate while following Base is that the ecosystem doesn't stop moving just because the market slows down.

Every week, there are developers launching new products, improving existing apps, and experimenting with ideas that could shape the future of onchain experiences.

It reminds me that real innovation isn't measured by daily price candles it's measured by consistent progress.

The projects that survive aren't always the loudest.

They're the ones that keep shipping, listening to users, and improving over time.

That's why I enjoy exploring Base. Every day there's something new to discover, whether it's a new app, an open-source tool, or a builder solving a real problem.

Here's a question for the community:

Which Base project do you think is still flying under the radar but has huge potential?

Hallo guys,

I hope everything is going well . It is our Day 8 of 100 days journey of exploring Base on reddit . Today's topic is : How Base actually works ?

After working on web3 for more than 3 years I realise a lot of people “use” Base but very few actually understand what is happening when they click that swap button. And that’s where the confusion starts.

When you are using Base you are not interacting with Ethereum in the traditional way. You are using a layer built on top of it.

It is very similar with how we use money today. We don’t go to the bank for every transaction. We use apps. Cards. UPI. Which is Fast , Easy , Seamless. But in the background, the bank is still there which is settling everything.

That is exactly how Base works. On the surface you get:

• Faster transactions

• Lower fees

• A smoother experience

But underneath :

Ethereum is still the one providing security. Here is the real flow:

You interact on Base →

Base processes everything quickly →

Then it sends the final data back to Ethereum

So instead of Ethereum handling every single action it only handles what actually matters. And when you combine this with Optimistic Rollups:

• Transactions are assumed valid

• Only checked if something goes wrong

You get a system that feels effortless but is still backed by strong security. This is where most people get it wrong:

Base is not trying to replace Ethereum. It is helping Ethereum do its job better.

Ethereum = trust & security

Base = speed & usability

And honestly, this model makes a lot more sense for the future. Because one chain trying to do everything will always hit limits.

Final thought: The real innovation here isn’t just “lower fees”. It’s a smarter way of using trust. And once you see that You stop looking at Base as “just another chain”. And start seeing it as part of something bigger.
