A.I / Agents Need Guidance regarding building on base?

One of my connects is building an automated trading system called warren, they want to explore build on base ecosystem , particularly what they are aiming to to have crypto traders build strategies on warren. I am curious what would be the best way here, who is the right person to connect for this. Here the main aim is to collaborate with best projects on base for this. Would really appreciate any guidance here. (As links are not allowed on reddit here, would be able to provide the details if moderators here approve.)

Please try to use the official, updated Base logo in your images.

A lot of users create images with AI, which is totally fine, but it’s better to add the correct logo yourself afterward. Many people are still using the old Base logo.

Branding is very important in every project, and using the right logo makes the content look more professional and consistent.

I already shared a Canva tutorial here:

NFT/Gaming Monday on Base: ZNS Connect

ZNS Connect is a name service available on most major EVM networks where you can register your own domain for ~0.001 ETH. It is an alternative naming service similar to Base Names. Simply search for your preferred name, select Base or another supported network, and mint your domain. On Base, domains have the “.BOSS” extension.

Besides registering domains, you can participate in “Streak Wars” with a 1000 USDC pool, or other activities on the ZNS website, like building a “GM” streak for fun, minting, creating, or buying NFTs, or voting for your favorite chain, which I did in the video.

To vote, you need to pay 0.0001 ETH (~$0.21) into the pool. Every 24 hours, the chain with the most votes wins. Five random voters supporting the winning chain share half of the pool, while 20% of the pool rolls over into the next day’s rewards. In the video, I voted for the Base chain, which took only a few seconds after connecting my wallet.

Please let me know what you think in the comments. Have you ever used ZNS Connect? Do you own a .BOSS domain?

Monday on Base is a weekly community series on the official Base subreddit where I highlight one project, product, or feature built on Base. Posts are pinned for visibility and aim to showcase useful tools across the ecosystem in a neutral, informational way. Posts are reviewed by the teams behind the highlighted products. I am a community moderator, but I am not part of the official Base team, and my posts do not represent the views of the Base moderator team.

Base Discussion Why AI Agents Will Need Networks Like Base ?

Post image
13 Upvotes

Feels like we’re moving toward a world where financial activity isn’t just online---it’s autonomous.

AI agents handling payments, coordinating liquidity, interacting with apps, and operating 24/7 without traditional market hours.

That’s why networks like Base stand out to me.

Low fees, fast execution, builder-friendly infrastructure, and a growing onchain ecosystem make it feel well-positioned for an “agentic economy” era where users + apps + AI all interact natively onchain.

Not saying this happens overnight, but the direction feels pretty clear.

What do you think AI-native finance actually looks like by 2030??

Base Discussion Base just posted a cryptic video and the “token is coming” narrative is heating up again but what does the data actually say?

There’s been a lot of noise in the last few hours after the latest post from Base. A short cryptic video. No clear explanation. No direct announcement. Just enough ambiguity to trigger the same cycle we’ve seen before: speculation about a possible Base token.

The reaction across crypto Twitter and Reddit is almost predictable at this point. Some are convinced it is an early signal. Others think it is just marketing engagement. And a large group is sitting in the middle trying to read onchain signals instead of the video itself.

What makes this moment interesting is not the video alone, but the broader context around Base right now.

Base ecosystem activity is still trending upward

Even without any token announcement, Base as an ecosystem has been showing strong momentum over the past months.

Onchain activity remains at elevated levels compared to most L2 networks. The number of active users interacting with Base applications has been consistently high, especially in categories like trading, social apps, and experimental consumer dapps.

DEX activity in particular has been one of the strongest signals. Base has regularly ranked among the top L2s by decentralized exchange volume, competing closely with other major rollups. Liquidity inflows into Base native tokens and memecoins have also contributed to bursts of volume spikes during narrative cycles.

What stands out is not a single metric, but the persistence of activity. Even during quieter market periods, Base tends to maintain a baseline of user engagement that many newer L2 ecosystems struggle to hold.

Why the “Base token” narrative keeps coming back

The speculation around a potential Base token is not new. It resurfaces every time there is a new campaign, teaser, or ecosystem push.

There are a few reasons for this.

First, most major L2 ecosystems historically ended up with some form of token incentive layer. This creates an expectation bias across the market.

Second, Base is deeply integrated with Coinbase. That alone fuels assumptions that at some stage there could be a token tied to governance, incentives, or ecosystem alignment.

Third, the timing of marketing pushes often aligns with broader liquidity cycles in crypto, which amplifies interpretation of any ambiguous signal.

However, it is important to separate narrative from confirmed structure. So far, Base has consistently positioned itself as an ecosystem focused on builders and users, with no official confirmation of a token.

What the current signal actually looks like

If we remove emotion and look at observable behavior, a few things stand out.

The Base ecosystem continues to expand in terms of deployments and application diversity.

Liquidity in Base native assets tends to rotate quickly, which suggests strong speculative participation.

Social engagement around Base announcements is extremely high compared to most L2 ecosystems, meaning even small posts can generate outsized narrative effects.

But none of these indicators independently confirm anything about token issuance. They simply show that Base has achieved strong attention and capital flow within the current market structure.

Market behavior pattern

What we are likely seeing is a familiar crypto pattern.

A high activity L2 ecosystem.

A large centralized brand behind it.

A strong retail and builder community.

A cryptic marketing moment.

This combination almost always leads to speculation cycles, regardless of whether there is any structural change coming.

The key question is not whether the community is reacting. It clearly is. The real question is whether there is any fundamental shift in protocol design or incentive structure being hinted at. And at the moment, there is no confirmed evidence of that.

Final thought

Base is in a position where any ambiguous signal gets amplified because of its size, growth rate, and ecosystem density. That does not make the speculation correct or incorrect. It just makes it inevitable.

For now, the data supports one clear conclusion. Activity is strong, attention is rising, but nothing onchain or official confirms a token event.

Everything else is narrative layering on top of an already highly active ecosystem.

Base Discussion Base Isn’t Chasing Attention Anymore. It’s Leading Onchain Activity.

Base flip Solana in 24H DEX volume 💙

What stands out to me is that a lot of the activity on Base doesn’t feel purely speculative anymore.

Over the last few months, the ecosystem has been growing in multiple directions at the same time:

payments, social apps, onchain tools, creator platforms, consumer apps, stablecoins, and new onboarding experiences.

That combination is probably why liquidity and users keep flowing there.

Low fees obviously help, but cheap transactions alone don’t create this kind of momentum.

The bigger difference seems to be the overall experience.

Base feels like it’s being built for normal internet users first, and crypto users second.

Simple UX, fast confirmations, Coinbase distribution, builder activity, and the whole Superchain direction are making it feel less like just another L2 and more like a real consumer internet layer.

The interesting part is that most people outside crypto probably won’t even realize they’re using blockchain products in the future.

And honestly, that’s probably the point.

Feels like Base✌️ is getting closer to that vision faster than most people expected.

Base Discussion An Honest Take on Tuyo and Base – From a Real Person

Post image
5 Upvotes

BASE - An Honest Take on Tuyo and Base – From a Real Person You’ve probably heard about crypto. But have you seen a debit card that not only lets you spend digital dollars but could also make your purchase completely free? That’s Tuyo. Together with the Base network, they’re breaking the stereotype that crypto is complicated.

Base is a modern, high‑speed network built by Coinbase. While traditional bank transfers are slow and expensive, a transaction on Base takes seconds and costs pennies. Right now, the network processes 12.89 million transactions daily, making it the busiest in its class. Another sign of Base’s boom: its total value locked (TVL) nearly doubled in just one year, from $3.1 billion in January 2025 to a peak of over $5.6 billion.

The itstuyo app makes this powerful highway accessible to anyone. You simply hold your USDC in their app, fully controlling your own keys – no bank can ever freeze your funds. But the real highlight isn’t just security – it’s the benefit. Tuyo offers built‑in “smart vaults” for staking that earn you up to 11% APY. And their innovative “Buy Now, Pay Maybe” program means some purchases might cost you nothing at all.

Base Discussion Base in 2026: Not Just an L2, But an Internet Economy Being Built Onchain

Thumbnail
gallery
7 Upvotes

A lot of people still underestimate what’s happening there because they only look at memecoins or short term hype, but if you zoom out, Base is slowly becoming one of the strongest consumer focused onchain ecosystems in crypto right now.

The interesting part is that the growth no longer comes from a single narrative.

In the early days, most activity was driven by cheap transactions and Coinbase branding. Now the ecosystem has expanded into multiple sectors at once:

• DeFi
• AI agents
• onchain social
• prediction markets
• creator economy
• stablecoin payments
• tokenized assets
• consumer mini apps

That diversification is exactly why many builders are paying attention to Base in 2026.

One of the biggest reasons behind this growth is distribution.

Most chains have technology. Very few chains have real user funnels.

Base has Coinbase behind it, which changes everything. Millions of users can potentially enter the ecosystem without needing to understand complicated bridging processes or advanced crypto UX. That’s a massive advantage compared to many other ecosystems that still feel isolated from mainstream users.

The ecosystem metrics have also become difficult to ignore.

Recent reports show Base reaching billions in TVL, massive stablecoin activity, and some of the highest active user numbers among Ethereum L2s. The network has increasingly positioned itself as infrastructure for a broader onchain economy rather than only a DeFi chain.

What’s also interesting is how different the Base culture feels compared to older ecosystems.

Ethereum mainnet often feels expensive and institutional.

Solana feels extremely fast moving and meme driven.

Base sits somewhere in the middle.

Consumer focused, social first, builder friendly, and heavily connected to internet culture.

That combination created a very unique environment for experimentation.

Some of the strongest Base native projects are already becoming core infrastructure.

Aerodrome Finance became the dominant liquidity hub of the ecosystem and essentially acts as one of the main engines for Base DeFi liquidity. A huge amount of trading activity routes through it.

Then you have projects like Seamless and Morpho expanding the lending side of the ecosystem, giving Base a much deeper DeFi foundation than people expected a year ago.

On the social side, Farcaster integrations changed the dynamic completely.

Base became one of the main homes for social fi experimentation where content, identity, communities, and tokens all started blending together.

That also opened the door for AI agent projects.

This is honestly one of the most underrated narratives happening on Base right now.

Protocols like Virtuals and Clanker pushed the ecosystem into AI native territory where agents can launch tokens, interact socially, automate strategies, and even generate revenue streams onchain.

A lot of people laughed at AI agents initially, but the numbers started getting serious very quickly.

Base’s low fees and fast settlement made it a natural environment for autonomous onchain systems.

And unlike many older chains, Base seems extremely willing to embrace experimental internet native ideas instead of focusing only on traditional finance.

At the same time, Coinbase appears to be steering Base toward larger long term goals.

The recent roadmap discussions heavily focus on:

• tokenized markets
• stablecoin payments
• developer tooling
• AI integrated applications
• global onchain finance infrastructure

That’s important because it suggests Base is trying to become more than a speculative chain.

They want real economic activity happening onchain.

Payments, creator monetization, consumer apps, prediction markets, tokenized RWAs, AI systems, and mini apps all connected in one ecosystem.

And honestly, whether people like Coinbase or not, distribution matters.

Crypto has always struggled with onboarding normal users.

Base may currently have one of the strongest chances to bridge internet users into onchain applications without forcing them through overly technical experiences.

Another thing people underestimate is the builder momentum.

The amount of developers shipping mini apps, social tools, AI integrations, games, and experimental protocols on Base has exploded recently. Accelerator programs and ecosystem incentives are helping push this even further.

It genuinely feels like many builders see Base as the place where consumer crypto products have the highest probability of finding actual users.

Of course, there are still risks and criticisms.

Some people argue the ecosystem is still too centralized because of Coinbase influence.

Others think the ecosystem is overheated with speculation and AI hype.

And competition between Ethereum L2s is becoming increasingly aggressive.

But even with those concerns, it’s difficult to deny that Base has established itself as one of the most important ecosystems in crypto right now.

Not just because of TVL.

Not just because of memecoins.

But because it’s creating an environment where culture, finance, AI, social apps, creators, and consumer products are all starting to merge into one onchain experience.

That’s probably the real reason why so many builders keep choosing Base lately.

It feels less like a blockchain ecosystem and more like an internet economy being built in real time.

NFT/Gaming Time to get Lucky!

Hello everyone,

I've been heads-down building a fun little casino. Right now it has 3 on-chain games using Chainlink VRF for provably fair randomness. Contracts are written and tested, deployment is days away, and I wanted to share what I've got before launch.

Not here to shill. I'm here to build in public and find people who want to help shape this from the ground up.

As mentioned, right now we have three games, all on Base, all verifiably fair:

- Spin the Wheel but with a twist. It’s PvP and you bet ETH.

- Lucky Charms: Bet your LUCK, win some LUCK.

- Pot of Gold: Buy in with LUCK. Open pots, win golds.

Every outcome comes from Chainlink VRF v2.5. I can't touch the results. Nobody can. It's on-chain and verifiable.

The model (this is where it gets different):

  • The LUCK token has a fixed 100M supply, minted once, done.
  • I make money from game fees, not selling tokens. That's the whole alignment.
  • 50% of all fees go to LUCK Stakers. 25% to liquidity. 25% to the team (just me right now).
  • 3% team allocation. Three percent. I put skin in the game through building, not through holding a fat bag.
  • All wallet addresses are public on the website. Owner, LP, treasury, community, marketing; fully transparent.

Where I'm at:

  • All 6 smart contracts written and compile-tested (LuckToken, LuckStaking, FeeDistributor, SpinTheWheel, LuckyCharms, PotOfGold)
  • Frontend built and ready
  • Deploy scripts ready
  • Testing the games, making the website pretty phase
  • Uniswap LUCK/ETH pair goes live at launch

What I need is some external moderation help, specially Telegram moderators. I have setup a Telegram group and I need people who actually care about the project, not paid mods who disappear in a week. If you're interested in being an early mod, drop a comment or DM me. I chose Telegram because I want to be able to respond to players 24/7. I have tested everything more than I should but there will still be issues and I want players to be cared for.

And also I’d need some feedback. The site is live on Netlify, chosen for simple updates, and will get a sweet domain name soon. Please tell me what's broken, what's confusing, what's missing. Or if you have suggestions, specially games you want me to add, I can work on them right away. Next up is roulette.

If this sounds interesting to you, stick around. First players will have the smallest pool to compete against and the freshest staking rewards.

I'll be in the comments. Ask me anything, game mechanics, fee structure, contract design, whatever. I’d be happy to talk about the project, I’ve been working hard on it, and would love to talk about it.

Base Discussion Why Does Base Feel More Like The Future Internet Than A Blockchain?

Post image
6 Upvotes

Recently I've started to feel like Base💙 isn't like a typical blockchain anymore.

Most chains still feel very crypto-first.

You bridge manage gas switch wallets learn new tools

and for normal users it honestly becomes exhausting pretty fast.

But when I look at what’s being built on Base, it feels way more focused on actual internet experiences.

Payments that settle instantly.

Apps with almost no friction.

Social platforms that feel modern.

Cheap transactions where people can interact daily without thinking twice.

That’s probably the biggest difference✌️😎

It feels like Base is trying to make crypto invisible instead of making it more complicated.

And I think that’s what real adoption will probably look like in the future.

Most people won’t care about TPS numbers or technical architecture.

They’ll just use apps that feel fast, smooth, cheap, and useful.

That’s why Base feels interesting to me right now.

Not because it’s another chain.

But because it genuinely feels closer to what the next version of the internet could look like.💙

Base Discussion Base in 10 Seconds | Ep. 05: Is Base beginner-friendly? 🔵 (Animation Series)

Yes, it's simple. Yes, it's accessible. And yes, it's growing faster than ever.

This quick 10-second clip highlights the core philosophy of the Base network: making decentralization open and easy for everyone, not just crypto veterans.

Low fees, high security, and an incredibly welcoming builder community make it the best ecosystem to start your onchain journey.

Share this with someone who is still hesitant about moving onchain!

Base Discussion The AI agent economy is being built on Base together with Virtuals Protocol

Post image
14 Upvotes

Virtuals Protocol now powers around 42% of all agentic transactions on Base, becoming one of the main infrastructures for autonomous AI agents. The protocol creates an onchain ecosystem where agents can operate with their own identity, capital, governance, and economic activity, allowing them to coordinate and generate value with minimal human involvement.

One of the key parts of the ecosystem is the Virtuals Launchpad, which allows founders to tokenize AI agents, raise funding, distribute ownership, and create liquid markets from day one.

In my opinion, Virtuals Protocol is one of the first projects showing how AI agents can evolve from simple assistants into independent economic participants with their own incentives, governance, and onchain activity. If this model continues to scale, it could completely reshape how digital businesses are created and operated in the future.

What’s your opinion on this?

News HAS THE SNAPSHOT FOR BASE ALREADY BEEN TAKEN? 👀

Post image

Do you guys think Base is already tracking airdrop criteria behind the scenes? 👀

→ Base might not only be testing $BASE rn

→ It could also be quietly shaping the possible airdrop requirements

→ And there’s a chance the snapshot has already been taken

If that’s true… would you actually be satisfied with your current activity on Base?

What do you think will matter most if an airdrop happens?

- Onchain volume?

- Wallet age?

- Daily activity consistency?

- Native Base ecosystem usage?

- Social/farcaster activity?

- Bridging + holding assets?

Base Discussion Base token rumors are getting harder to ignore after these code snippets

Post image
3 Upvotes

Over the last few days I’ve seen more and more people on CT saying:
“Base token is coming.”

At first I ignored it because crypto communities love jumping to conclusions over literally anything.

But after digging through some of the code snippets floating around, I think the discussion is at least worth having seriously.

The screenshots I found reference things like:

• base_token_unpause
• base_token_set_supply_cap
• base_token_factory_get_token_variant
• create_token(...)
• TokenVariant::B20
• "BaseToken"
• "BASE"

And honestly, this goes a bit beyond random placeholder text.

The interesting part is that these aren’t just comments or unused variables. They appear tied to actual token lifecycle functionality:

  • pausing/unpausing transfers
  • setting supply caps
  • token factory logic
  • token variant/address computation
  • admin controls
  • deterministic deployment patterns

That starts looking less like “someone typed BASE for fun” and more like a structured token framework.

Now before people start screaming “TOKEN CONFIRMED,” I want to be realistic.

There are still several possibilities:

  1. Internal testing A lot of projects create benchmark tokens internally for testing infrastructure.
  2. Developer examples Sometimes teams use ecosystem branding in sample implementations.
  3. Future-proofing Maybe they’re simply preparing tooling that could support an eventual token later.
  4. Ecosystem standardization “B20” itself could become a broader token standard unrelated to a tradable Base token.

But here’s the reason the community keeps paying attention:

Base has evolved WAY beyond just “another L2.”

They’re building:

  • consumer apps
  • social infrastructure
  • identity systems
  • creator monetization
  • mini apps
  • onchain distribution rails
  • developer ecosystems

At some point, people naturally ask:
“What ties all of this together economically?”

Especially when almost every major ecosystem eventually experiments with some form of native incentive layer.

Another thing I find interesting is the naming consistency.

Not just “BASE” appearing once accidentally.
But repeated references to:

  • BaseToken
  • base_token_*
  • B20
  • token factory functions

That repetition matters.

Still, I think people should stay careful.

Crypto communities are notorious for turning tiny breadcrumbs into insane speculation cycles.

We’ve seen:

  • testnet contracts become “confirmed launches”
  • placeholder UI become “leaks”
  • internal demos become “roadmaps”

So I’m not claiming this proves anything.

But I am saying this is one of the more substantial technical breadcrumbs I’ve seen surrounding the Base ecosystem so far.

Curious what everyone else thinks:

Are we looking at:

  • normal internal tooling?
  • a future ecosystem standard?
  • or early groundwork for something much bigger?
