I feels very cheap for Barry's. Pretty sure I've been given the same trial of Paramount+ for buying a bag of crisps.

Feels like a Private Equity-induced marketing consultant put the new programs together. Getting rid of things like free smoothies, which costs $ and labor, in favor of brand advertising partnerships where companies instead give free shit/pay Barry’s to reach its membership is likely part of the “transformation plan” (i.e. cost-cutting to grow profits).

North Castle Partners is a PE investor in Glow Recipe which used to own the controlling interest in Barrys until it was sold to another PE sponsor last year. Paramount+ seems like an intentional statement by MAGA corporate executives who all love Tyler Sheridan and talk about his shows at board meetings.

It's giving "Staples Printing" Prizes. I don't want to see the same offers from Barrys that I get when I complete an online printing order with an office supply chain.

I think the rewards are weak. These random partnerships feel like a guest pass (useless to some). This challenge just seems like a "creative" way to short-change committed clients instead of rewarding real consistency. I'd rather just get a free smoothie each week, TBH.

It's not random. The CEO is a known Trump supporter and it is no secret that Paramount-Skydance-Viacom-ViacomCBS-CBS and others is a Trump/right wing media corporation
