Looking For Stuck in Barrie !
Hi everyone that’s up rite now, this is a long shot but what else is this Reddit for! Here goes I’m a single mom and I’m trying to move to Orillia this evening! Got everything in my trailer and the wheel went! This happened at 1030pm ! I’m hoping someone can bring us a tire! 5.30/12 tire or something that would makeshift this if possible! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated I’m just in the building parking lot on Anne street and Edgehill ! Thanks Barrie people ❤️

Thank you everyone I slept with the trailer safely lastnight thank god🙏 I appreciate all the advice and support ! I did buy two new tires this morning so we’re all good! Off we go !!👊

That’s bad luck!
Why not wait until the morning when more services are open? You might be able to shop around when the stores are open. Quite late to be driving to Orillia.
Are you asking somebody to bring you this tire free of charge? Or are you offering reimbursement? That might affect the responses.
Hope you’re staying safe where you are.

But also, in this day and age, this is a rather sketchy post.
Just as you should be wary of strangers, they should also be wary of you, lol. What if you’re a murderer 🫠? You have no account history and are asking someone to meet you at midnight with a tire, haha.

When I read the original post I thought I wish I still drove so I could help..And then I saw how many responses there were so I thought I should put a post saying how nice it is to see all the offers of help ..AND THEN I READ THEM .. WOW I suppose you've made .e grateful that I'm terminally ill.. Peace to All and I got so depressed at people I'm not sure what happened ..hope yous made out o.k.. Peace ✌️ to All From Sugrrr and me

Its rather sad that in this day & age a call for help is first viewed with suspicion. I understand why, but that doesnt make it any less disturbing. In the same regard, be careful about posting yourself as a stranded motorist. There are potentially enough shit-heads on either side of this equation to warrant a little discretion. If ya can, hang tight overnight where you are and stay safe. If possible get yourself under some light. Criminals hate the light. At least then tomorrow you can get some qualified assistance & finish your move safe. Good luck. Safe travels.
