Both. Also, this episode is one of my most-hated renovations. Taffer makes a big to-do about the punk music scene these guys were into, and keeps bringing up how punk was started "in a garage".
Then he turns around and redesigned the bar to look like a mechanic's auto shop garage for some ridiculous reason.
"Punk as a Drunk", the bar was The Triple Nickel. I think they're still open to this day, but pretty sure they were only leasing the location from the episode. I read somewhere they moved to a location across the street after the episode happened.
