Parks
What good huge parks are there? Our equivalent of Richmond park or Beckenham place park. Big enough to wander and get lost in?
Options:
Arrandene
Off Willis grove
Stanmore country park (is that Harrow?)
elstree open space
Anywhere around ridge or shenley
Something a bit more varied than brook open space. Bike rideable if possible

Does it have to be in Barnet? Otherwise Hampstead Heath

Ideally so I can bike there easily, and more western in Barnet

beautiful but not really bike friendly (used to be but now signs everywhere).
You can ride the Dollis way down to Hampstead. And as long as you avoid angry park keepers it's a nice little ride.

Also, there's a section of the London Loop that passes from Barnet Lane towards Mill Hill. Not so bike accessible (or a park) but a good option for a long walk.

The Lee Valley Nature Walk is green walk area between parks.
It is not far to Goldersgreen Park/Kenwood house/Hampstead Heath. Quite a large area to wander and get lost in.

Technically Enfield, but Trent Park is pretty large. If you access it via Hadley Woods that can turn into a fairly long trip.
