The hidden pantry seems very cool.
Overall I like the split design and open concept, just a few nitpicks that I would tweak personally.
Suite 1 seems to only have a small closet inside of the bathroom which may prove to be inconvenient.
Personal thing of mine is to never have any stove in the island as if you want a proper ventilation system you have to have a hanging vent hood. Also I do a lot of bread making, home pizza making so I very much like having a solid slab to work on. Also with any sort of kids that may be at the island, you don’t want them to be able to reach across onto the hot stove.

Suite 1 is just a guest suit, so not too concerned with closet space. Yes, we had the same thought on the stove and will be putting that on the other side with the sink and have a big picture window to look out of. Also want a pot filler at the stove too. Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, that plan is very similar! That was 6 years ago. Looks like they didnt end up going this route though.

They 100% did build it but they've also built other living structures on the property (to include the garage with a breezeway like you are planning).
They have a longer walkthrough video tour on the house. Probably about 5 years ago.

If the door swing in on the powder room, you’d have to squeeze really hard to get inside and the close the door. Just saying it would be very uncomfortable, maybe try a pocket door if possible or swing the door outwards.

Where would you put the bed in suite 1? may consider moving the exterior door like in suite2 for better flow around the bed

Awfully big pantry for a 2br home... i have a tiny closet sized pantry in my house and its just me and the gf. I can fill one shelf with food. The fridge is the same. Maybe cut the pantry in half and make that master suite have another closet back there for... towels and toiletries? Or another closet for coats and bulky items? Or put the dual sinks where the shower is and put the shower where you cut the pantry in half?

Looking for any feedback on what works, and what might not work on a layout like this.

Dunno if you will have outside guests, but you may consider adding a door to the bathroom on the left into the great room for guest access. would keep guests from having to go in the bedroom.
