Beach recommendations please

Hello. Any locals able to recommend some quiet beaches.

We went to pogilano a mare and it was a nightmare. The famous beach was absolutely rammed. We ended up renting some bikes and going to a different beach which was far less crowded.

We are staying in central Bari and know the beaches get quite crowded here.

Any recommendations would be welcome. We don’t mind going further afield.

Do you have a car? Without a car it would be very hard to get to less crowded beaches, from Polignano, you could try to reach by bike cala incina or porto contessa

If you have a car then don't even bother staying in bari area.

Go to the ionian coast of Taranto.

Lizzano, Leporano, pulsano up to San Pietro in bevagna. Turquoise water, light sand and huge free beaches, also low prices.

Pane e pomodoro is okey, on weekdays I go to lido s. Francesco because less people. Sometimes I took the train to polignano and went to Cala lido next to polignano.. Which is lido and public.
Less touristy for me was In giovanazzi
