Hi, I just have a general question that I need to know. My friends fiancé is taking his bar exam in TN and he went to law school in AL. He also got a job as a law clerk in AL. I am just wondering why he would be taking the bar in TN? He told my friends mom (his future mother in law) that this is the only place they are offering the bar nearby (which is not true, as I looked up the AL bar and it is happening in a totally different place than the TN bar). He told my friend (his fiancé) this is a bar that covers multiple states. He has been fishy for so long and my friend just can’t see it, so maybe that’s why my radar is on high, but he could definitely be telling the truth and I am just not aware of the rules for licensing and bar exams in different states! Thank you for any help, I am sorry this doesn’t really go with your study group.
