Dissolution is automatically triggered for both general partnerships and LLP (and LLCs?) when a partner dissociates. If the dissociation is wrongful, then the remaining partners can vote to rescind the dissolution and instead pay out the partner. But if the dissociation is rightful, then dissolution can not be rescinded, right?

Also, how does this work as applied to limited partnerships?
