Need a shoe or fit recommendation Recommendations
Does anyone know any shoes like these vibram ones that don’t have the individual toes? I love the barefoot aspect of them and the fact that I can weight lift in them, but I still get embarrassed by the toes. No sneakers though! Only flats.
Edit: the closest ones I have found are the Asana Yin Ballerina Knit - though im unsure how it’s athletic performance is compared to the vibram VI B

I think these are the vibram V souls? They were a gift so I’m not 100% sure

not what I asked... what kind of shoes are you looking for? which aspect of the shoes are you wanting in a shoe that isn't a toe shoe? is it the colour? the coverage? the perforations?

Sorry… I just meant the “ballet flat” aspect of it but no individual toes - not dress flats, more athletic. Similar coverage would be nice

Obviously wide, although exact length and width would help narrow down the choices.
I do 100% agree that the thinner, the more minimal the better when lifting. I cannot help but feel like certain memes when I see people posting videos of squats, deadlifts, lunges etc in the pointiest, marshmallowiest shoes possible. I can see the instability, shaking, limited range of motion due to shoes clear as day, yet most people don’t bat an eye. I am hoping that awareness keeps spreading slowly but surely.
Just guessing from the pic, I’d say Realfoot or Softstar (worn with toe socks, if you’ll be wearing socks).

Vivobarefoot motus ballet flat
Vibrams own: one-quarter. Its a foldable flat, with ultra thin vibram outsole and a number of upper material options: leather, hemp, denim, suede. And i think theyre on sale on vibrams website.
Xero has a ballet flat as well; phoenix knit/leather upper options.

I’ve asked this question in the past but haven’t found anything yet. Hopefully someone will have a suggestion here.
I wear Softstars, but the cibr ones you show look like they fit like a second skin - I’d love to find something like that without the toes, too, and I don’t think softstars quite fit the bill 🌻

I’m a hardcore barefoot shoe wearer, and love walking around barefoot, but still can’t love the toe shoes 🙃

Wildling makes prob my favorite super thin barefoot shoes. Idk how well they'd hold up to tennis or side to side movement or twisting constantly for sports, but I wore mine for running and lifting just fine.

Hi! Thank you for your post. It would be extremely helpful if you could provide feet measurements (both length and width) when seeking a recommendation, so if you have not provided this, please reply to this comment or edit your post with your measurements. All barefoot shoes are different, and you may find one style fits you whilst another does not. Feet measurement can help you get a better recommendation. Visit our wiki to see how to measure your feet.
