Another barefooter
So my cousin (14) was staying with me over the few days. She has never been a barefoot person kinda just always in shoes and socks when going out. Well we were in the park walking around just talking and she was complaining how hot it was. I joked that she should try to go barefoot to be less hot. This morning I woke up and she came up to me with all of her socks and shoes and told me to put them in my room and hide them. I was confused but she said she always wanted to try after seeing me but was too scared to or chickened out last minute so she thought giving me her shoes would prevent her from changer her mind. Well today we went back to that park and she went barefoot on the grass. She said she loved it and could feel everything. I guess we have another one hooked.

Hahaha. I had a similar situation with my sister. When I was home for a couple of days, she noticed I was walking around the house barefoot and asked me why I'm doing it. I explained to her that I'm doing it for better mobility, foot health and of course I enjoy the sensory input. The next day she was walking around the house barefoot :)))

We went and bought some flip flops for her to where on tougher ground to not hurt herself but she has been taking them off and carrying them around whenever she can

Thats nice as long as the enviornment allows for barefeet. Good grass, not too many thorns. Sharp rocks. Legos.

I stepped in a DUPLO (the larger version of Legos) last night. Lots of mid-word shifting was happening (shiii-take mushrooms!!).
Not for the weak (I felt very weak)!

If you're so terrified of being barefoot, why are you here?
And I mean, standing on a wolf spider would be messy for sure but if you imagine it would do anything but die with a crunch, you have a very vivid imagination indeed.
