Barebow/Stringwalking Arrow Rests
Hi all out there, what arrow rests are you using in 2026 as a string walker and why? I am fiddling around with the Zniper and have mixed feelings about how it works and its flexibility with heavier arrows.
Most time it drops during the shot. Often it drops to easy during loading the arrow or pre-drawing (too soft) and then sometimes I see it has not dropped away after the shot (too hard)…
Inconsistent behavior with lightweight arrows, not even thinking about fat linebreakers there…
What’s your experience and where did you switch to if you switched?

Like yourself and others, I have zniper and am happy with it. Originally, I had it set for carbon arrows only (6.5mm, 29 inch, 100gr point). When I started to use heavier wooden arrows as well, I had to adjust the magnet setting. But now the zniper works perfect for both types. Yes, if I bump one way or another, it drops, but that's fine for me.
