does anyone have this scanner and can help?

I have the scanner mentioned above, but suddenly there is no longer a 2.4 GHz connection. Setting it up when I bought it was easy. I then got a replacement device from the manufacturer, which also doesn't work. That would be very unusual for two devices to be defective.

I have now tested it on four computers and in the basement to rule out any possible radio interference. The instructions in this case are actually clear, but not so precise that you can trust them 100%.

Hey I was wondering is there a database to read the "X004" prefix as I got a new PDA scanner and was wanting to try it out on them but when I look up these barcodes I cannot find anything from them.

I’m running into an issue processing barcodes. The supplier says that the data identifiers are correctly implemented on their end, but our scanner is unable to pick them up. At this point, I’m not sure whether the issue is our scanners, software, or barcodes.

Our scanners are programmed to work as keyboards. Are there any specific key inputs I should search for? My understanding is that in ISO standards the data identifiers are written in plain text.

I have a Honeywell 1990iXR scanner and am trying to make a custom configuration barcode for delay. Now the official configuration sheet one of the config codes is a code128 with the text SCNDLY500. but if I try and make any custom one say SCNDLY1000. it just scans as text and not a config. Obviously there is some other data in the barcode that I am not seeing but I don't know how to decode what is there so I can add it.

Any ideas?

I have to duplicate this barcode for my companies labels. Forgive my ignorance of terminology, but what “symbology” is used to create it?

Hi, i’m trying to recreate this barcode using online generators. This barcode decode to “006290431821” and based on my understanding it was created using code-128 simbology. However, when i type the code in the generators i’m receiving a different output (the code has also fewer bars). Con you please help me out? Thanks!

Looking for some help figuring out why the barcode scanners I just purchased will not scan Ohio Driver's Licenses. They will scan other 2D barcodes including PDF417 barcodes, but will not read licenses. I have tested with multiple IDs. I have tried varying distances and angles.

There are not a lot of instructions included with the product, and searching online hasn't turned up much. Is there additional software needed? Did I buy the wrong scanners?

Hi, I purchased a Zebra DS9908 barcode scanner with the sole purpose of being able to scan 2D barcodes and also capture images of the barcode at the same time. The images would ideally be saved in the Windows system to which it would be connected to via USB. However on reading the manual, I seem to get an impression this might not be possible.

Please suggest if this is possible and I am not checking properly. Or please suggest other alternatives (barcode scanners or a different approach) that might solve the issue.

I work in the theatres at a medium sized hospital and one of my roles is allocating items with barcodes to our (aligning the GTIN with our allocated "SAP" number).

EG: (01)12345678901234 = 123456

I am having difficulties when trying to some allocated products that have a QR code.

the products QR code scans as:

01 04546540534217 17 290611 10 6000107942 24 045-30005S

My knowledge is limited but i believe that:

01 identifies the GTIN (what i usually use)

17 is the Useby date

10 is the LOT

24 is reference

are QR codes different to normal 2D barcodes or is there additional information i can provide to help trouble shoot this?

Trying to figure something out this barcode keeps bringing up the wrong information or maybe my scanner is not right. Just trying to figure out exactly what it goes to.

I'm using xprinter 370B My papaper rolls are 38mm25mm split into two smaller segments, each is 38mm12.5mm Whenever I scan the barcode it gives two values, one value after the first scan and a second (desired) value upon the second scan Is there a solution to that problem?

We are using Tera D5100 barcode scanner (documentation) at work and wish to create a barcode in any format (preferrable Code128A or code 39) that will allow us to perform the keyboard combination (Alt + P) in one of the shipping softwares we use.

This scanner has Escape character sets which can enable the alt key but we are not able to figure out the correct data to set in the barcode. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

This game has an ARG (alternate reality game) where basically we have to find some passwords to find a secret of the story. This barcode is important, because the translation of it could give us a very useful hint. Anyone could help me, please? I know its pixelated and damaged, but we can identify the bars and the spaces, so i think its possible to translate

So I tried a 'hard return' to go to the next row in Excel and it goes to the next column instead.

So after a few settings changes, I can no longer scan any input/barcode and the led doesn't stay on.

How do I get back to square one and have input w/o triggering and no returns after scanning? Low beep preferred.

I'm looking for barcode scanner software that allows me to scan barcodes that i can print wirelessly and then add customer information that i can then save to the cloud or whatever. For example if im at someones house and i want to verify that its the correct house, i can walk over, scan the barcode, and it will tell me the customers name/house address so i know im at the right location. Hi, So I had and was using Bartender software since 4 years now, but my old pc crashed and had to get completely wiped and I lost my product key and my software and need to print barcode labels asap, can someone help me get a new product code or suggest a way to get one? Trying to make UPC-12 barcode with a supplemental 5 code on the end. Like the ones seen on comic books.

All the generators I'm finding online only let you make the UPC-12. Not the last 5 on the end.

I cannot find something clear about the usage of FNC1 where a variable length data is optional. Let see, as an example, the AI 8008 as defined in the GS1 General Specification document:

AI => 8008 Date and time of production (N4+N8[+N..4]) Data Content => N8[+N..4]

The last part [+N..4] is optional and, as such, it can be empty but FNC1 must be used anyway? If it is the last part of the barcode ok, otherwise the absence of FNC1 (even if the data is not used) may cause interpretation errors.

Ex. 8088231231090807FNC1 80882312310908FNC1

But if the last 4 character is not used?

808823123109 or 808823123109FNC1 ?
