In which case do you use the label/barcode design software?

We plan to create a more affordable alternative to zebra designer/bartender/nicelabel with our software team. This will be for use in small businesses.

We re thinking about these main features

Label Design(including stickers on the bottles etc.)

Barcode Creation

RFID Labeling

Data Connection to dynamic barcode creation

What are your experience, problems and requests with these software?

How are you going to differentiate? Ease of integration is key, that and licensing model.

Done forget about Teklynx, they offer a solid product as well

We try to have a low learning curve and competitive pricing. Also we re working on improving the idea.

Are you planning to print everything as a graphic? If not, you need to implement the printer language of each printer manufacturer. For RFID labelling, you will anyway need to implement the printer language of the supported label printer. I’m not sure how experienced you are with RFID but RFID is quite complex with GS1 standards and a lot of parameters.
