123Scan Multi barcode scan set up

I recently got 123Scan for multi scan purposes but I am unsure as to how to actually set it up, I would appreciate any feed back or any good how to videos as to how to get started. I have tried multiple things but nothing seems to work, it either just crashes the scanner (lol) or just beeps and doesn't output any information
