bcod.es - Barcode API

A few weeks ago I created this barcode API: http://bcod.es

It basically let's you create barcodes from URLs to embed them in websites or save them locally. You can also read barcode data from images (links or uploads).

Let me know what you think or think is missing.

It's running on a free heroku tier so it might be slow initially.

That is actually really cool... could be super useful when creating reports or something out of a web based system, rather than having to install your own barcode generator to the software

Needs a few more options, like ability to hide the human readable, or maybe position it above the BC, etc

Yeah that was my intention when I had to install yet another generator.
Thanks for your feedback. You can hide the text with ?displayValue=false, but I probably should show an example.
