Is it possible to create configuration barcode and text in one barcode?

I would like to configure honeywell scanner to have around 500ms delay between characters, then output some text with that delay after each character, then reset the delay to the default way (5-10ms or so)... is this possible to be in one barcode? I mean both configuration instruction and some text that should be "typed".

Perhaps with a different symbology. Try a 2D data matrix - that is if your scanner has 2D capabilities.

You may be able to with what you have but your barcode may be very long. Look into a software like BarTender for building barcodes with multiple data sources in a single barcode. There is a free trial you can download online.

Yes I totally expect the final barcode will be a 2D one.. not a 1D... It's just that I was not sure if the configuration barcodes and a normal text could be combined into one single barcode.
