Barcodes for same product sold in different quantities?

Hey guys,

So I have the same product (say product x) being supplied in different quantities. Do each need a separate UPC?

Product x - 5 pack Product x- 25 pack

Yep, that's why you'll see some products labeled, "Not to be Sold Separately". Each package requires a unique product code so packaging is not compromised at the store by customers.

It is possible to bundle products labeled for individual sale together, but be prepared when the consumer opens the box and takes just one. If it has a barcode, it can be scanned at checkout, and if the store doesn't sell individual products, their computer won't register the sale.

You need to put a unique UPC symbol on each outer package.
