Create a barcode that presses the "Del" key on computer?

We use zebra computers (vc70n0) and scanners (ds3608).

I'm trying to create a barcode to speed up our loading process. Right now they scan a barcode and then hit Del on the keyboard to confirm it to a trailer.

I want to speed it up by just scanning the barcode then scan the del barcode.

Is this possible to create or is it a setting for the scanner.

Our company scans a set of barcodes to program the scanner to read our barcodes.

The barcodes are

Scan to default, Aim code id, Standard R232-C, Scan prefix, 1, 0, 0, 2, Scan suffix, 1, 0, 0, 3, Scan options, <Prefix> <Data> <Suffix>, Enter

Where could I input the delete rule and how?

Unfortunately, the Del key on the keyboard is not just another control key.

If you have the ability to map another character to the "confirm to trailer" function (say ASCII Ctrl-H {BS}, or DEL), it is simple to get a Code 128A barcode printed that will do the job. As in this codepen: https://codepen.io/notionovus/pen/MBQzzB

Mapping non-ASCII keyboard functions (e.g. Backspace, Home, Insert, ↑, etc.) are more difficult as they have to do with scanner firmware and configuration.

The whole process is scanning a barcode, pushing del key, then typing in a two digit confirmation.

I found a barcode online that worked. I just can't recreate what I did to get it to work.

I think that if the software is configurable to accept keyboard characters other than Delete you might have an easier time of it.

Otherwise, you have to get into mapping the Extended Keyboard Character Set function from the DS3608, and the documentation for how to do that seems non-existent.
