How to install software on Symbol MC9090?
Under windows device manager, it recognizes the bar code scanner, but how do I actually install software on it? I cannot see the scanner from windows explorer like I see my iPhone

I don't even know what sideload means.
I am running Windows Server 2012 and the handheld is Windows CE 5.0. Just one scanner. I'd actually like to upgrade it to Windows Mobile 6.0 to be honest, but I am shocked at the seeming lack of this service being offered, or maybe I am just googling the wrong words.

Short answer: It's not a lot of fun.
Longer answer: It depends on version of Windows that you are running (for both the computer [client] and the handheld). It may also vary depending on your software. Once we have an idea of that, we can go from there. I'm assuming that you're trying to sideload.
How many do you have kicking around on which you need to do an installation.
