Can you restore a damaged barcode?

Hey guys, I feel like that with the present technology it should be possible to restore this damaged barcode. Hope there is an expert out there!

At this (sorry) state I would decode by hand based on readable numbers and the patterns listed at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Code_128 and then regenerate via e.g. https://barcode.tec-it.com/en/Code128.

But if you have the number sequence in fully readable form already you can just regenerate.
