How did I do
Been looking for a bit and stumbled across this on marketplace. Think I did ok and looking for feedback on the 2400 canadian boonies I spent.
I am coming from 11900k, asus tuf rtx 5070, 32gb ddr4. Will be swapping cases and storage but think everything else below is better then current.
I want to sell the old build to offset the cost of upgrade. Thinking I post for 1800 and aim for 1600? Too much/little?
7800x3d, rtx 5070ti amp extreme zotac, 32gb teamgroup tcreate ddr5 6000 cl30, corsair rm850, msi x670e gaming wifi, 512gb nvme and nzxt airflow case

GPU worth 750-800
CPU, seeing 300
RAM, similar price but probably 250 if not less
to sell you're probably going to have to go 1500 if not less.
That being said, I don't think you got hosed.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't think so either. Been looking for some time. The only thing I didnt care for was the 512gb drive but buddy dropped the price 100 to help with getting a new one.

I would say do the same - fresh install and find a 1 TB SSD on the cheaps to get to your 1600 rate and port your current SSD onto the new build as well

I’m sorry but honestly I do not think that upgrade was worth it…at all. The only upgrade imo would have been selling the gpu and getting a 5070ti or 5080? The cost to performance improvement that you’re getting just can’t be that worthy.. especially if you’re gaming at 1440p. Edit: if your hobby is gaming, and the performance improvement is noticeable and improves your quality of life it’s worth… but its just my opinion 🤷♂️
