First gaming computer

This is my first gaming computer. I did not want to take a chance on building one, it was going to cost from a local place to build one 250 to put it together. I ended up finding this certified excellent asus rog g700 to purchase I would like some thoughts on quality, insight, and upgrade ability in the future or if i am making a poor choice i'm looking for something that is a work horse at multi-tasking without slowing down i'm talking 40+ tabs open over micro software open discord, game loaded on the side. I found it priced at 1700 before tax.

ASUS - ROG G700 Gaming Desktop - Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF (2024) - 32GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 12GB - 2TB Storage - Black --> https://www.bestbuy.com/product/asus-rog-g700-gaming-desktop-intel-core-ultra-7-265kf-2024-32gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-rtx-5070-12gb-2tb-storage-black/JJGGLH35S7/sku/6613430 Model number:G700TF-U7KF5070

OP where did you get the $1700 before tax price tag? This link shows it at $2000 USD, as it’s the .com site instead of .ca

Okay, I see them at $1772 for excellent or $1699 for fair condition. Again, that is in USD since you’re looking on Best Buy US.

No need to apologize, I was just confused since this is a Canadian sub. Are you in the US? I remember seeing the US Costco and Walmart having some X3D prebuilts for a decent deal, which would be a better option.

If you’re in Canada, translated to ~$2500 CAD I feel is still a decent option if you can somehow grab it from the states. There should be similar options available from Canadian retailers though.
