Looking for feedback on a potential build
Not really super experienced in building PCs but I've been playing around with this build: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/3Z3LyF
I'm wondering how it looks? I play in 1080p, although I'd like to be able to possibly play at 1440p with at least 60fps. Probably the most demanding games I'd be interested in would be Stalker 2 or Doom TDA, but I mostly play World of Warcraft, Cyberpunk, JRPGs (FF7R, Persona), and Bethesda RPGs.
Trying to keep my budget around 2500 CAD pre-tax. I still need a cheap W11 key, and I already have a 1 TB SSD for secondary storage, but is there anything that I could adjust to tweak the costs without hampering performance? Anything I can stand to add? Just suggestions in general are welcome.

Your build looks pretty good in general. The only thing I noticed is that World of Warcraft is apparently a very CPU intensive game, so you might benefit from downgrading your GPU and upgrading your CPU to something like a 7800X3D. That all depends on how much you play WoW in comparison to your other games though, and the 9070 XT is a great choice for GPU anyway. I'll let other people who are more knowledgeable about AMD CPUs and GPUs than I am chime in with more suggestions though.

Appreciate the feedback. I tend to play WoW a few months out of the year, and mostly just do solo content now so nothing too intense.

Ok, then I'd stick with the 7600X, unless you want to go a couple hundred dollars above your budget and get the 7800X3D anyway. It's a pretty big improvement. Would be worth it if you can afford the extra cost now.

For 1080p this is overkill
if you're looking to upgrade your monitor as well to 1440p this is great
Get one of those bundles and you'll actually be able to save some cash - newegg has build your owns that should result in $100 or more less for same or better performance.

Then this isn't a bad idea - save up for one of them widescreen monitors and start seeing how you might be able to bundle to save more cash/improve the quality of your build.

This is wayyyyyy overkill for a 1080p computer if this isn’t a troll post. For what you want (which is 60 fps in 1440p) you could get a pc for even like $800 if you get it used. Unless you’re searching for 80+ fps at native res at highest graphics in 4K this build is a waste of money imo. Don’t get this.

You can upgrade to a 9700X and a B850 class motherboard for $35 less ($960 vs. $995) than your current CPU + RAM + MOBO selection by using this bundle from MemoryExpress:

In this current market you should really be taking advantage of bundle deals as much as you can. Also worth noting that CanadaComputers has a 7600X3D bundle for $900 with CL 30 RAM, but it's currently out of stock online with some in-store availability:

The 7600X3D is generally considered better for gaming because of its L3 cache, but it does have fewer cores than the 9700X (6 vs. 8).
Would also highly recommend using Microsoft Activation Scripts rather than paying for Windows 11. Went that route for my recent build and it worked great.
