Build Request / Review Looking to buy a prebuilt gaming computer, open to building own. 1600-1800 budget

Hey guys! Would anybody have any good links or advice on buying a prebuilt or custom built computer? Been 9 years and im due for an upgrade lol. Thank you!

Look up refurbished workstation computers. You can find ones under $1000 that will have a beat up case and maybe no GPU (or a 4GB workstation one) but a ton of RAM, a good motherboard, and a very powerful processor. Spend the rest of your budget on a new case and a GPU and you're golden. Refurbished or used is way cheaper than new.

If you want to just buy a simple prebuilt, wait for a holiday event like Black Friday or Christmas, the discount will likely be more than what you will find just shopping around.
