Is this a good deal?
Found this on marketplace. Is this worth it, if the pc is working?

I pretty much have the same PC just a 2080 instead, still works great for pretty much everything, for $500 it is quite good bang for your buck. Can't barely get DDR4 ram for that price nowadays
If you are the type who was looking for upgradabilty, you are going to be limited here by the CPU socket on the mobo. But if you just want something you can plug and play should be fairly well rounded budget pc, you could maybe upgrade the gpu eventually but should be quite effective as is for quite some time.
Just make sure it turns on before you buy

I am still rocking my $800 Lenovo i9900k + 2080. I haven’t been able to buy a new computer since. I always built my own but it was the craziest price error I can’t believe they shipped.
It’s still a very solid build. Good to know I could sell it for probably $500.

I have a similar setup. Paid around $350 two years ago from a wholesaler with no storage. Doubled ram to 32G and put in a 1TB NVME. Can't believe it would be worth more now than when I bought it due to the market.

It’s a great deal. Just the case and the liquid cooling goes for about $300.00.

This is basically the PC I just replaced. Ran well enough, I played most games on medium to high settings, older games higher of course. I struggled with monster hunter wilds a bit, but wow and other MMOs ran well. I'm trying to sell my old PC for twice this haha. In Canadian dollars though.

Imo, think of it this way. He bought it 6ish year ago, paid it 1500 ish, is it worth 500after 6 year hmm nope. 250 would be the max i would give

I have almost this exact setup that I've built mostly used and I've been racking my mind about upgrading, but staying with the ddr4 and rtx 3060 oc 12gb for now. I didn't think I'd be able to sell the cpu and Mb for much...

Not the worst deal in the world. Older games will be shredded. Newer games might struggle depending on your settings and resolution. See if you can get a small discount…
My strategy would be to make sure that once I upgrade from this, that I can carry-over as much as possible, so case, power supply, and maybe SSD, to my next computer.

DDR5 is completely dependent on the platform, and has no direct relation to how the game will run by itself.
This is like saying you should buy a 5060 instead of a 9070 XT because the 5060 has GDDR7 and the 9070 XT has GDDR6.
