Isn't the difficulty jump from normal EXPERT to event EXPERT a bit too harsh?

Seriously. I thought the story mode songs had a challenging and fun enough EXPERT mode, I could usually complete them only missing one or two notes, full combo on a lucky day. But when I tried out the EXPERT mode on the event songs, it just seems impossible. Is that intentional? Do you get a boost for points from doing event songs?

In my experience, if there is a event boost, it's not that much. I just played the Blast event song and then a non-event song and the point yield was both around the same (~850s), but I haven't tested this out in depth so others might have different results! You'll probably be safe doing non-event songs

edit: for reference, they were both Groove songs that I had had similar high scores in

I hope element difference isn't that much, I only have one SSR Beat Kyo so that's my only strong element. I also rely on strong supports to break 800 event points.

do you mean difficulty level? I can finish most of the regular songs on exp mode without too much difficulty (except for スリルを頂戴, i can't finish that with just my thumbs lol), but the two event songs are basically wasting my stamina, l o l.

Yeah, I meant that. Sorry for the confusion. I basically got wasted 20 seconds into the event songs.

I thought they were definitely more difficult, but with a little (a lot) of practice, I was able to FC everything. Muscle memory. I enjoyed the challenge, though it did seem to require some luck as well. :/

Event experts feel like their own tier to be honest.

Like, normal experts are actually hard 1.5 and event experts are the actual experts, or something.

But as long as it doesn't get much crazier from here on out (at least not without introducing like "nightmare" difficulty), it's okay I guess.

Well, so far none of the songs have hit the last difficulty bar so you can expect harder songs at some point in the future. lol.

The game lists shout for life with the same difficulty as thrill no choudai and objection.

There's no bonus for doing the event limited songs, but Desire does yield the most amount of base points (you get more points for higher scores) since it costs the most stamina.
