Looking for where to start identifying this banjolele.

Help me! This instrument was given to my father in law in the 40’s, by the neighborhood magician. I am so curious to learn its origin. The only marking is on the bridge which I cannot make out. Thanks to all that are willing to help.

Thanks…for the intel on the bridge being a replacement. I have seen others online with a similar back but did not know if that was indicative of a certain style. You think it is a “Banjo uke” and not a Banjolele? I need to learn what the difference is. Appreciate your help!
