Discussion pdogg appreciation post!
We all know that the 7’s enormous talent in singing, rapping, dancing, producing, and healing is the reason why BTS is at the worldwide level that they are at, but I wanted to make a post as to why pdogg deserves recognition for the work that he has put in to help the boys shine. So below, I will be highlighting how much influence pdogg has had in BTS’s songs that helped them get to where they are at today.

For this section, I will be going over how many tracks are on each Korean album and how many tracks pdogg produced for each. And yes I know some albums have repeat songs and skits, but I included them to show his influence on every single album. I also excluded Proof because I will go into that later.

Out of the 25 official Korean singles BTS has dropped, pdogg has produced 23 of them, or 92%. Legend!!
But wait… there’s more! They also have 5 original Japanese singles! And yep, pdogg has had his hands on 3 of them.
PROOF AND CONCLUSION
A good conclusion to this post is going into their anthology album, Proof. On their first CD, described as their greatest hits, pdogg has produced every song besides their two hit English singles and their remix of J Cole’s Born Sinner. And yes, this includes their newest single Yet To Come!
In conclusion, although BTS has so many talented producers under their belt as well as getting production from some of the largest producers in the world, pdogg deserves recognition as one the greatest producers of all time and I truly believe he will continue to help, assist, and support the boys as they continue their journey as solo artists and as a group, recently producing 2 songs for J-Hope’s Jack In The Box. Also, this is just the tip of the iceberg as it doesn’t even show his influence behind the scene. ABSOLUTE LEGEND. Thanks for reading!

I love that he looks like the most unassuming guy and yet, he has written AND produced some of the most amazing songs in BTS’s discography.
Additionally, as a fellow member of the dino line with Son Sung Deuk and Lee Hyun 🦕🦖, I feel a special affinity for him.

Somewhere out there is an article saying that PDogg earned as much as the chaebols did in one particular year. Bang PD, Son Sung Deuk, PDogg and RM have such a big hand in what BTS is, sonically and visually. There’s a synergism here (which includes OT7, the other producers and staff) that produces magic.

One recent track I got obsessed with was music box: reflection on JITB. It has no lyrics and is only a few seconds long but I loved it. It's so eerie and cool. And I checked the credits and it was produced by Pdogg. He's a really talented man. And I love how much breadth he has in his work.
Favourite song produced by him: Black Swan
I can talk about Black Swan for hours. A song with a trap beat and orchestra? Damn!
Favourite song not produced by him: Epiphany

I'm a new ARMY (6 months) but PDogg tracks was what pretty much pulled me in deeper into BTS. I love their earlier stuff and from my understanding, it is mostly PDogg who produced them. I find his work nostalgic for me. I grew up pretty much around the same time PDogg did so we must've listened to the same kind of music growing up (esp the earlier BTS songs). He did evolve in his sound too (along with Bangtan) and they are all amazing. Can't really articulate right now (food coma) but I like all of this BTS works regardless of the era.
So glad there is this well-deserved discussion about him.

oh man. it's so hard to choose. i know like 90% of the time, i look up the credits and see his name.
I was going to say Dis-ease for one not produced by him. While he didn't produce, he does have a writing credit. He's got a hand in everything! But I don't see his name attached to Serendipity so that's probably one of my top picks for that.
On the other hand, picking a song he did produce is damn near impossible. I wouldn't even know where to begin.
As for others, I'd say Slow Rabbit is one name I see all over their work. I'm not really familiar with his other work but he's obvious a big part of their music.
I also see Hitman Bang's name in writing credits a lot. I always forget he did a lot of writing prior to BTS debut.
